The staff were great and the food fabulous. The room was ok but the en-suite was ridiculously tiny. Halfway through my shower the water just stopped for no apparent reason. The bed was extremely comfortable but the pillows were very very uncomfortable.

We stayed at this hotel in October. The location was very good for visiting the Eden Project, the Lost Gardens of Heligan and various National Trust properties. Our room was spacious, cosy and comfortable. Breakfasts were generally good. The dinner menu was varied and some of the dishes were excellent although fish dishes were slightly overcooked. There was a good selection of real ales too! We would recommend this hotel to anyone requiring a good, central base for visiting the local tourist attractions. Our only complaint was the overcooking of fish dishes especially one of the breakfasts.

I liked the availability of the Bar and the reasonably priced menu which was sufficiently varied. The room was clean and spacious although little things like the bathroom door needed a little attention. Overall a very satisfactory few days The car park surface was a little challenging

The atmosphere was excellent, well located in Charlestown in the heart of the village, excellent range of ales and ciders, wonderfully fitted out rooms and good value for money. Really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it. There was nothing to dislike about Rashleigh Arms, its was totally excellent in all areas

We loved staying here! Charlestown is completely charming and there is lots to do in the surrounding area. Really friendly staff and a great bar with a good selection of ales. We stayed in a room called 'gig' and it was big, comfy, clean and nicely decorated. We can't wait to go back!

The location is amazing The breakfast cutlery was dirty and the person serving the breakfast was miserable. We also found that on the day we were due to leave the shower stopped working. I believe this was because with the check out time being 10:30 everyone was trying to use the shower at the same time. Unfortunately i had to stand in the shower for 20 minutes without water, waiting for water to be available.

Room was good as was the food, little noisy but that was to be expected as it was regatta week. My room was facing the main road & it was regatta week so don't book if you want a quiet week.

The staff were lovely, extremely helpful, even managed to get us a fan in our room as we found it a bit warm at night for sleeping. The location is also great just a few minutes walk to the beach. There was only a couple of things that could be improved - the parking - the surface was awful - I'm just glad I was using a hire car and not my own - and the wi fi reception was not the best.

“Everything about the hotel was excellent. The pool was a real treat and the coffee was excellent. The staff could not have been politer or more helpful. I have already recommended it to friends. Unfortunately we hadn't realised how popular the bistro was so we couldn't get a table so next time we will book in advance.” Geoff, Exter |
