Very comfortable room. Excellent location. Pleasant and helpful staff
Biscuits in room were stale
We liked the friendly staff and how we could leave our bags whilst walking round london
Thought the breakfast was very exspensive
No free WiFi Poor choice of TV channels - no access to freeview channels.
Felt secure and comfortable being a solo traveller on business and location good for my appointments
Wifi had to paid sterling 15.00 per day , and sat night 180 compared 135 sun night breakfast extra!
Fabulous location for visiting soho. Easy access to great bars and restaurants. Very comfortable bed and all facilities we needed. Staff very helpful
Having stayed in many hotels in central london the Rathbone was something of an unexpected discovery. Situated near Goodge street underground it is a brilliant location for easy access to all of the capitals major attractions and it is surrounded by lots of excellent bars and restaurants The Cote nearby was wonderful for breakfast. The room was very clean and we both slept very well - the breakfast is expensive hence our decision to eat at the cote nearby.
Nothing other than management need to look att he costs of breakfasts they are expensive and more importantly not competitive with many of the cafes and restaurants literally around the corner
Location Friendly and helpful staff
Bed was a little hard
Staff were exceptionally helpful, especially the housekeeping when we had to dispose of two old suitcases. The lift was out of order but this was acknowledged & apologised for many times with the bonus of a complimentary breakfast on our last day. We will definitely be back.
Small niggles, like the fact that the kettle was not situated anywhere near a convenient outlet, neither was the hairdryer easily used in front of a mirror.
Great location Fantastic price Great staff
Lift was broken
Location and fairly quiet
Terrible hard bed. Small room for the money. Awful dated bathroom. And absolutely ridiculous charges for internet
very welcoming, great stocked bar, fantastic position easy to get to every place you wanted, we loved it.
no in house restaurant for evening meals
Good value for central london. Location convenient to tube staff friendly and courteous. Room clean and quiet. Bed comfy
Location, complimentary newspapers
Poor wifi !
Great location in Fitzrovia. If you are coming from non-uk I would totally recommend this area - all the sights and sounds of the West End - ease if access to Bloomsbury and the museums - and great local restaurants.
Location was excellent
no access to a computer
The staff were all friendly and helpful and the location was superb. We were two ladies so the fact there were so many restaurants close by was great.
No dislike at all
The bed was very comfortable. The shower was excellent and the staff were friendly. We were given a complimentary plate of olives to enjoy with our late-night drinks, which was a nice touch.
The room could do with a little updating such as better carpets etc and the bath was a bit chipped. An iron in the room would also have been useful.
Spotlessly clean. Great location. Excellent staff.
Having to pay for wireless acces.
Great location. Comfortable room and helpful friendly staff
Very welcoming. Very quiet. Travelling with my adult daughter.
Friendly staff, elevator (especially with luggage), many restaurants and pubs within walking distance (even if you are tired) lounge for a drink.
Curtains were not very dark (woke up early because of light) and on friday it was rather noisy outside until late, kept me up
Great location and staff was very helpful.
The noise level was a little too much when trying to sleep. Our windows faced the street and between the delivery and trash trucks during the early morning hours along with the trash (bottles) etc being put out on the curb for pickup late/late evening and early morning was way too much.
A very convenient location for business in London with plenty of options nearby for food and dining.staff were very helpful and friendly.definitely use the Rathbone again.
