“We arrived rather late but were met by a smile and quick delivery to our room, which was appreciated. The proprietor showed us to the vast dvd library and suggested we helped ourselves. The room, in a beautiful house, although small was absolutely perfect and spotless.”

A beautifully maintained house and very well situated. We had a lovely large bedroom with super en-suite bathroom. Marian and Anthony were excellent hosts and very informative. The cooked breakfasts were excellent - far better than most 5* hotels we have stayed in previously. Would certainly stay at the Rathlin again.

The details in the write-up were all correct and there was everything we had expected; however from the write up, we were expecting Rathlin Country house to be in more extensive grounds. The bed seemed a little small, but everything was clean and comfortable. Everything was satisfactory, just not quite as much " luxury" as I had expected.

This is a really pleasant place to be: the house is beautiful, and the room spacious and well equipped for a relaxing stay. Facilities are excellent in the room, and Marion was a very welcoming and attentive host during my stay. The breakfasts, with a range of home made or locally sourced ingredients, are excellent - with a wide choice of options. I will certainly be booking a stay at Raithlin again. Parking on site, and a quiet location add to the attraction of Raithlin.

We arrived rather late but were met by a smile and quick delivery to our room, which was appreciated. The proprietor showed us to the vast dvd library and suggested we helped ourselves. The room, in a beautiful house, although small was absolutely perfect and spotless. The bathroom was beautiful with everything pre-empt by the owners, they supplied us with everything for a wonderful stay including glasses and a wine opener, bath robes, alram clock, along with everything else you would expect from a 5+ b&B. The breakfasr room was laid out and ready for us to serve ourselves with the proprietor taking our order for a freshly cooked breakfast and copious amounts of tea. Good safe off road parking in a beautiful, quiet location. Remember to follow the written directions and not a sat-nav!

Fantastic, cannot rate it highly enough the owners were welcoming, chatty, informative, friendly and very helpful, nothing was to much trouble. The room was fantastic, very clean, spacious with everything you could need including corner bath, big tv, cd library, brewing facilities and airy. Breakfast was the best with locally sourced ingredients which were very tasty. Will definately stay again

Top-end, luxurious b&B. Large, bright, spotlessly clean room, tastefully furnished with good quality fittings. Comfortable, thick mattress, with bedside light each side. Dvd player in room with good choice of DVDs to borrow. Small fridge with free bottled water and kettle plus selection of hot drinks. Deep tub jacuzzi bath with power shower overhead, and toiletries supplied including shower cap. Excellent breakfast with good quality sausages and cafettiere coffee. Husband forgot his shaving foam and owner gladly supplied some. The oak-pannelled breakfast room is lovely and the garden swimming pool must be a huge plus when the weather's good enough to use it. If only all B&Bs were this good...! Disliked absolutely nothing but would have been 100% perfect - instead of "only" 99%! - if our room could have had a 6ft superking size bed. Many places increasingly seem to go in for the 6 ft "zip and link" beds.

“A great experience and very different from staying in a Corporate hotel. A very welcoming atmosphere, immediately feeling relaxed by Bobbie and his wife Sunita. A huge effort went into giving first class customer service, genuinely delivered. By the end of our stay we both felt as if we had been staying with friends and it was sad to leave. We will definitely return.” Vernon, Llandudno |
