Good clean basic accomodation for a reasonable price, staff very friendly and a good breakfast. Ideal for a couple of days stay. Outside of hotel could do with smartening up. |

Was only a short taxi ride into Newcastle City Centre and the value for money was excellent compared to the other hotels in Newcastle The receptionist was extremely annoying and rude to other guests. The room was not the most clean or comfortable and there was a lot of noise in the middle of the night. the walls were extremely think but you get what you pay for. |

Visiting family member The noise at night and the pub like lounge was awful . The breakfast was then served in the lounge on pub tables rather than in the restaurant . It was a horrible experience |

Parking, Comfortable room, Bar and Restaurant available. Friendly staff. Having to hand in room key each time on leaving hotel with 'longish' waits to retrieve it on return. |

The staff were very friendly, The food was good and plentiful, and good value. Wireless Internet was not available in the Room but it was displayed as available on Booking.com site. Wireless room internet was the main reason I selected the hotel. The hotel did not take American Express. |

We had stayed here before and had no problems. Our room was on the first floor directly above the entrance and was very noisy especially when the occupants of the room under ours came back at 2.00am and were shouting and using obscene language until 4.30am. The security man came out several times asking them to be quiet but they completly ignored him. We complained the following day and our complaint was dealt with sympathetically by staff who were very helpful. |

Staff were very helpfull, good breakfast!! noisy late at night when the stag parties came back. Also, while couldnt say it was dirty, everything was rather shabby and the carpet was in need of a good clean! |

Location was very convenient plus the hotel was very well decorated I stayed for 2 days and my room was not cleaned by the housekeeper. however the receptionist kindly apologized to me. I was not too bothered since my staying was very short so everything was clean. |

It was comfortable, quiet and the staff were very friendly and accomodating. Excellent value for money. It was advertised as having free Wi Fi...this was the case but it was only available in certain areas of the hotel and not in the bedrooms. Advert slightly misleading. |

The rooms were kept clean and more space. The breakfast was excellent except for too much salt in the bacon. I often struggle to get the television channels on. I demanded for non smoking rooms, but one of the rooms reserved for me was full cigarette odour. |
