The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room, though small was very comfortable and clean. The TV was only tuned to receive 2 analog channels and the digital reception was very bad. Couldn't get the wifi to work, connected to network but not to the internet. |

Breakfast had many selection. I indicated explicitly about wishing to take a bath in the room when I booked but there was no explanation and I needed to ask but we were given a room with a shower. Explanation said free internet wifi connection thorough out the hotel but there was not and we could not use. TV reception was very bad and every few minutes we needed to swich off and on again. |

The friendly helpful staff and position of the hotel make it an easy place to stay. The ability to walk from the hotel to a number of interesting local places and the to be able to return to a welcome drink and the dinner probably of your choice are an added bonus. |

The lodge is set in a beautiful countryside location. There are a few great walks from the lodge from beginners to strenuous. The small staff base is extremely friendly and welcoming. The included breakfast is fantastic, plenty to eat and really tasty. There is a great conservatory which you can have your evening meal in or relax in during the day. It looks out over the fields and hills. |

The breakfast menu was excellent , the views outstanding (although incorrectly described in booking.com) and the staff were friendly and helpful. We thought the cost of the evening meal was over priced as it did not live up to our expectations. |

We had an extremely pleasant stay, with friendly and attentive staff. The conservatory and breakfast room were not only lovely places to eat but had glorious views. The terrace is also very picturesque. |

The staff were very welcoming and willing to help with extras such as packed lunch. The contemporary style room was very bright and comfortable. The setting at the lower side of the road was lovely. |

It was beautifully situated near the lake. We were welcomed warmly and it was the closest I found it to be a 'homely' environment while being a hotel/lodge. I wold go back again. The evening meals were cooked to perfection but presentation was not the stronget point. As value for money, the nearest pub provided excellent quality and presentation for just over half the price. |

we were met by adam,who was friendly and showed us the room,excellent, we stayed in the hayloft room, very spacious and comfortable. breakfast was ample,this would keep us going till evening meal at 8.00pm. after breakfast we took a stroll to the lake and church,scenery was amazing.really enjoyed our stay here. |
