Ravenstone Manor Hotel and Restaurant    

Loved everything....the room comfortable and restful, the bathroom superb...a beautiful bath, amazing shower, underfloor heating! The relaxed atmosphere they have created here was wonderful, the staff warm and friendly and the food and the service excellent. Only wished we could have stayed longer!

Remarkable room- jaccuzi and shower in the bathroom; 4 poster bed and fresh milk in the room. Restaurant-The tastiest scallops I have ever eaten;.

Small Hotel full of character & history, very friendly, helpfull staff, very nice food. Modern bathroom with underfloor heating.

Nice rooms for price, good bar with fire & also big games room also with fire & full sized snooker table.

Having no a la cart section of menu. Still, good value if you're on an empty stomach after long days walk.

The hotel is very welcoming and friendly. The food is excellent, both breakfast and evening meal. The staff are all friendly and accomodating whilst still being efficient, as are the owners. The location and views are lovely.

This hotel suited myself and my husband so no negative comments.

All the staff were welcoming, friendly and accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble and we felt really looked after. It was the first time we had gone away with our new 6week old baby and the hotel made it a lovely experience. The views are breath-taking and the food is excellent. All-round superb.

Everything from polite staff to the little touches. Customer service is there number one and any questions I did have were answered straight away. I was away on business and had to get up earlier on the both days. When I mentioned this to the owners they then arranged for me to have breakfast earlier. Even though I stopped there for business not pleasure the staff and all owners made my trip more pleasure than business. If you want to stop at a great hotel with great customer service and friendliness then go no further. In my line of work I stop at many establishments and can honestly say this was the best.....Thanks guys.

There was nothing to dislike.

We stayed for 5 nights and to sum it up I put in the book in the hotel "Simply the Best" From the moment we booked in to the time we booked out nothing was too much trouble.The food was fantastic with the menu changing every day.We spoke to other guests and one person told me they have been going back every year for 12 yrs, we will be joining that club and definately be going back

The staff are friendly and accommodating. The restaurant is good, particularly soups and entrees. Good lounge and bar.

The room was small and the bed uncomfortable. The one bath towel and hand towel were not changed during the week. The wi-fi was almost non-existent.

Easily located. Attractive location elevated from road. Little traffic noise. Convenient on site parking. Attractive mature building and furnishings. Welcoming staff. Good lounge and restaurant. Good food menu.

The hotel was really nice,a great welcome, a good view out of our bedroom window, the hotel and rooms were spotless. the food was exceptional.

Everything was first class.

Ravenstone Manor is run very well and all involved have one thing etched on their minds and that is to make sure all guests are looked after in the best possible way The food is something special a real treat Both families involved are so good at their jobs,they make it look easy but i know it is not I can only wish them every sucess in the Ravenstone I shall look foreward to visit again in the future

The location; the food; the ambiance of the hotel; the friendly, relaxed nature of the staff and owners - a real personal touch; the games room looked fantastic, although we didn't stay long enough to get to use it - full size snooker table can't be bad!

We stayed in one of the rooms tight up high, where the water pressure for the shower was poor. The owners have only had the hotel for a year and are in the process of renovating. There was the option of a shared bathroom, which we could have taken, if it had really been an issue.

Dinner was a little disappointing. Vegetables were generally not fresh. They were either frozen or, in the case of the new potatoes and butter beans, tinned!!! Also, there was a tendency to overcook the meat and fish leaving it dry and/or tough. This could be due to all the guests that I overheard insisting on their steaks being well-done and the chef assuming this is how all the guests wanted their meat. We stayed 3 nights and it that time we would have expected a change of towels. Also. glasses used during the day were not changed.

Beautiful location. Great views from every room. Charming building and rooms, and very interesting history. The owners and staff are gracious and helpful, and very friendly. Overall, a delightful experience in a stunning location.

Had a wonderful bank holiday weekend at Ravenstone. We arrived very late at 10 pm but were greeted with a warm smile. Adam had upgraded our room to make our stay more comfortable and that too at no extra cost! Can't speak highly enough about the staff. There was a genuine desire to make ŷou feel welcome.The breakfast was very good and the evening meal was among the best I have had in a hotel. I would recommend this hotel to anyone with a young family.
