The Ravenswood Hotel  

On arrival very friendly, helped with luggage, lovely clean facilities with good views over park. Close to town centre not noisy at night. Lovely breakfast with plenty of choice. Nice when leaving to be able to leave car in car park and wonder around a bit more.

Kathy and Ashley are developing this B&B into a real treasure of Torquay. Service was excellent (breakfast was particularly good!), comfort and attention to detail was great. A definite recommendation.

Kathy and Ashley are continuing their plans for refurbishment of those rooms which are slightly tired and attention to customer requirements is excellent. Combined with their hospitality and approach to customer service, this B&B is a real gem.

Ashley & Kath have invested a lot in refurbishing the hotel & have done a great job. It's attractive & welcoming. Our hosts make the stay a pleasure, they are delightful & prepare an excellent breakfast.

Refurbishing the bathrooms is next on their list & when that's done Ravenswood will be perfect. I'm not complaining though, the en-suite was fully functional

This hotel was situated within a very short walking distance to the seafront. The beds were extremely comfortable and I had the best night's sleep that i'd had in a long time and all at a very reasonable rate! I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who was planning on visiting Torquay.

A very friendly couple running the hotel who were always happy to help with anything. Lovely food - and always offered more ! Good location, clean, warm, near the harbour and shops and we would definitely go back.

The Ravenswood Hotel is very well presented. I had a lovely room and excellent freshly cooked breakfast. Nothing was too much for the owners who were very friendly and welcoming.

Owners of the hotel were friendly when we first arrived and our bags were taken to our room. The location was excellent, very close to shops and beach. The breakfast was excellent, plently of choice and everything you may need.

Our room was very small. There was a stain on the bedcover and the decor was old fashioned and a bit tired. Very basic shower which produced very little water. The carpets throughout the B&B were not to my taste as they were old fashioned and very busy with colours. My opinion is this establishment is a 3 star B&B.

Owners were extremely friendly and made us feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble.

Great little hotel right next to the high street. Very comfy rooms, nice breakfast and friendly staff.

Water closet a little small, but for 1 night no big deal.

Kathy and Ashley go the extra mile in making you more than welcome, nothing was too much trouble for them, the room was lovely and comfortable , and the breakfast were really superb , we shall return to Torquay, and our first port of call will definitely be the Ravenswood. Many thanks again Kathy and Ashley, our short stay with you was really wonderful .

Really friendly! Had a new born with us and they was very accomodating. Break fast was perfect rooms was clean bed was amazing!!

every thing except the shower was cold in room 2 but apart from that could not fault it the staff was excellent and the breakfast was excellent too would def stay again in this hotel

I liked the ravenswood hotel the hosts were friendly it was nice and clean great location breakfast was good with plenty of variety.Me and my wife stayed 4 nights and enjoyed it.I Would only change one thing the name I would call it blueberry heaven after the lovely fresh blueberries I had on my cereal every morning I recommend the ravenswood go on give it a go you won't be dissapointed.

The Staff were amazing, very friendly,helpfull,on the ball. Good sized rooms and very clean with it, Breakfast was beautifully cooked both mornings. Thankyou both for having us :)

The warm welcome we received, and excellent service. The breakfast was great and so was the location.

The bedroom would benefit from a mirror and a plug close by.
