Brilliant service, Wills (the owner) was a fantastic host and went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed, the cooked breakfast was superb, central location in Windermere and the rooms were spotless, very comfy beds, all in all, had a wonderful time

Décor was slightly dated and not to my tastes but not a major issue

Nothing not to like

The breakfasts were brilliant. Loved the little details in the room lovely china tea sets. Loved the teddy bear as well!

Owners were lovely and very hepful

The bathroom was very small.

Wills was really helpful.gave us lots of info on the area and ideas on things to do which was really useful.good choice of well cooked,tasty breakfast's.the room was quite basic but clean and comfortable.ideally located just a few steps away from Windermere and about a twenty minute walk down to Bowness and the lake.

Only comment would be a bit overpriced for what we got.would have expected a bit more luxury for the price.

Excellent location - walking distance of the lake and a bus stop right outside for open top bus to Grassmere etc . Lovely owners. Small basic twin room with a nice bathroom - (shower was fine). Fresh towels every day. Breakfast was ok.

Chest of drawers was in desperate need of some glue and TLC - very annoying to have to put the drawers back together every time I took something out of it (meant to mention it but forgot if you are reading this Wills/Pauline).

Central position in Windermere

Wonderful hosts made our stay memorable. Rooms are modest but clean. I would not stint and opt for more expensive room as bathroom is much nicer and the price difference is not much. Free wifi was a plus and tea making facility in every room was appreciated.

Our hosts were very obliging and happy to make our stay as comfortable and good as they could make it. Very good breakfasts. An enjoyable sojourn in the Lakes for 6 nights. Thank you Wills and Pauline.

The staff qwere very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was excellent.

For a Superior Room it was small and not as luxurious as I would have expected for £100 a night

Friendly, helpful, accommodating. Suited our needs most excellently.

Very kind and lovely owner, really british way of living. Very romantic atmosphere and ambiente. Towels changed every day, the real breakfast at the right place :-)

For lazy people is the lake by walking a bit far. No critics further!

Small room...No room to open suitcases..Top floor no lift.. many steps..

The staff at the guest house was very friendly and helpful. Pointed out Full English breakfast was very nice.

Our stay was enjoyable, with the exception of daily issues with the shower. The hot water was supremely temperamental and didn't work half the days we were there. We had to use our neighbors' shower, which also had problems with the hot water.

The staff were really friendly and really helpful and would go out of their way to do so. The hotel was very clean and situated in a good location.

Location was good. Pauline and Wills went out of their way to make our time in the Lakes District as enjoyable as possible.

Lack of space in the room. They advertised themselves as luxury accommodation. It was not. It was very basic. The water pressure in the shower was poor.
