Effort of the staff to help was fantastic as well as excellent customer service. the hotel was in a great setting with surroundings and excellent facilities for the money.Clean and well kept rooms
location suited us very well
Happy cheerful check in staff, lovely location , choice of nice quiet hotel bar or their nice pub next door
Was'nt there long enough to find any faults, but woud'nt think there would be any
hotels location overall appearance cleanliness
over the bath shower with curtain comfortable room temperature difficult to obtain slow service in the resturant with wrong meal being delivered.
We loved the tranquillity and setting of the hotel. The room was a nice size and the bed very comfortable. Facilities were good and would definitely return.
Cost of breakfast was a bit expensive - especially if one doesn't have a large appetite but toast and tea would be adequate.
staff, room comfort pet friendly, good greens around
Clean comfy room, a good nights sleep, hearty breakfast.
Modern, clean and tidy
Staff could not cope with the number of diners waiting for a table for dinner, on Friday night. Too far from food establishments and breakfast not included in basic room price.
This is the hotel partner of Bearwood College where our daughter was married on Saturday. We booked two junior suits as our base for the weekend. The wedding cake was put together in one and the bride and bridesmaids in the other. We had loads of room having imported boxes of stuff. The staff couldn't have been more helpful. All our guests that stayed in the hotel found it to be equally amazing. We were in the bar until the early hours of the morning and the atmosphere was relaxed. Breakfast was excellent. They provided freshly cooked hot food for the buffet right up until breakfast closed.
We loved everything.
Welcome at reception, room size.
Shower a little elderly.
The room and quietness
The fact that we paid over £100 for room and didn't get any breakfast not even free cereals in our room even travelodges do that and you pay half the price also the cost of the breakfast £15 per person for cooked breakfast com on please !!!
Very friendly staff pleasant surroundings clean hotel we had a snack in the poachers on our arrival and the young man who served us was very efficient and helpful
Restaurant of the hotel
clean, comfortable standard room, standard bath room, free wifi. In addition waterboiler for coffee/tea and iron.
price too high
Staff friendliness, opening hours, the room, the shower, TV channels offered. The scrambled eggs.
Tariff is quite high. Had expected the distance to Farnborough to be closer. The hall way just outside the elevator on the 4th floor was very warm. Lots of folding doors to pass through at late hours in the corridor to my room, hence inconvenient with bags and trolleys and probably noisy for other guests as well. The coffee (as in most hotels) is barely drinkable. No croissants available.
Close to M4; Friendly staff;
I booked the room 6pm, arrived 11pm, booking was not found, but receptionist got us a room anyway. There was a breakfast card on bed already filled in by different person. Apart from that I enjoyed the stay and would come back again.
Attitude staff , good location , very clean
The hotel is very clean and tastefully decorated. Our room was not spacious but adequate. Good shower
Reception staff unfriendly but other staff brilliant. Bed too hard. £6.50 for 2 cups of tea in the bar and a few biscuits from a packet is rather pricey!
I stayed in an executive suite and the room was excellent, the food on the first night was also excellent.
The food on the second night was ok but didnt reach the standard of first night. There was no swimming pool which was disappointing, I like to swim and take a sauna before dinner to relax.
Close to where we needed to be and good value in the weekwnd
Staff average Food average Beds awful Lacks ambiance
Enjoyed the breakfast very much
Did not find anything that we did not like.
Receptionist who , when asked for a different room ,acted superbly and with no drama . It was a surprise to see her serving at breakfast which she also did with great pleasantness.
Executive room was nothing like the description and photo on web site . Clean but very small and dark with small bed . A/C fan outside would not have been ok . Room change was ok.
Stayed here Saturday night overnight.. Booked room approx. a month in advance and got a twin room with 2 breakfasts for £89 - if we would have gone on the day £205 for the room - so please book in advance its an excellent bargain. We arrived at approximately 1.30pm on the Saturday afternoon and was greeted by Jenny - who Is a lovely lady and really friendly. At around 8.30pm we visited the restaurant for lunch I managed to get 8oz rump steak and a drink of coke for £20 approx. which is excellent value. My friend had a meal with chicken in - the chicken arrived with no sauce and then the waitress didn't ask how our meal was until near enough the end of the meal but my friend eventually got her sauce!! Morning after we went to breakfast - This is worth £10/£15 - the meat is lovely superb.
At 3.30am! Yes 3.30am we received a wake up call which we didn't ask for... I rang the reception immediately about this and they didn't know why this has happened. So at 7am I took a trip down to reception to ask why it had happened - it was a system fault apparently. Also was meant to be in a quite room - Could hear people outside chatting in early hours of morning
Room very good
Comfortable room and bed. Staff very helpful.
The menu was unimaginative, although the steaks we had on the second night were very good. Food at breakfast was not hot enough. Access to the pub, The Poacher, is difficult over the narrow road bridge.
