My room was very cosy and clean. It had a DVD player, and for a coincidence I had a DVD with me I meant to watch from my laptop. Despite being just outside the city, the place already feels like being in the country. The M11 is very close, but for some reason is impossible to hear! Good choice for breakfast, although cooked breakfast comes as a premium. Great location for where I needed to be, but I wouldn't come here if I didn't have a car.
On the second night the wifi wasn't working, luckily I didn't really need it. I told the staff the next morning and they went and reset the router. Bed too soft for my taste (but might work fine for others!).
Our room was good value for money, clean and comfortable. The main house was lovely, excellent breakfast room and staff were helpful.
Our room wasn't in the main house, which hadn't been clear from the website. This meant that there was less character in the room than we'd hoped for and a short (chilly) walk to breakfast in the main house.
Close to park and ride, and therefore convenient for the centre. At the same time surrounded by countryside, so had a relaxed feel. It was an intriguing building...comfortable in an elegant conservative way. Breakfast very good.
Luxurious and spotlessly clean room with such a comfortable bed. The owner is always so friendly and polite when I stay. Good breakfast, lovely buildings and grounds
Good location with outlook of a boutique hotel. Very well maintained.
Small room, basic breakfast
The style and decor of the property. The comfortable bed. The excellent food
The fact that the price of the room did not include breakfast. It would have been a great help to know about the excellent bus service in advance.
Excellent location for main routes. Breakfast was delicious with lots of choice, nicely served and a roaring fire.
Room quite small
Beautiful surroundings, friendly staff, clean rooms
It is classed as bed and breakfast so therefore breakfast should be included. For a continental breakfast it was 10.00 per head which is very expensive and a cooked breakfast was 20.00 per head which was disgusting prices.
Takes a while to warm up the large rooms
Really well kept place and nice clean room. Bed comfy as well. We will come back to explore further when we have more time.
The room and bed were very comfortable. The "chalet" was well laid out and quiet
For a 4* B&B the towels were ridiculous - they were very small and quite threadbare. To be told when arriving that breakfast was not included should have been made clear on the booking form The DVDs were in the wrong boxes
Amazing comfort, very homely and warm. Even though it was close to the motorway the room was absolutely silent, even with the window open! Clean and modern bathroom with hot shower. Could not recommend this place more.
Only one bad thing and that is that the wifi was non existent in the chalet. It didn't work at all for our stay but was well accommodated by a very good quality television with all freeview channels.
Loved it all especially the breakfast room
Not being able to stay long enough
Good surroundings and location, very clean room and friendly staff
Being woken up at midnight by people checking into a room next door to us which we was told was a staff kitchenette are, especially as we were told nobody was next door to us and check in time was between 4-8pm. Also breakfast was only served between 8-9am which we thought was a very narrow time slot and a tad early for the weekend. The price was also a little on the expensive side as it was £10 each for continental and an additional £10 for a cooked breakfast, £20 each for a fry up seems a bit expensive to me.
The beds are very lumpy and soft. The heating in the bathroom is not switched on so it takes a many hours for the towel rail to warm the room.
Rectory farm was a very welcoming B&B it had a very calming and luxury feel throughout the staff were very polite and helpful
Relatively cheap and comfortable accommodation, close by to a great pub (5min taxi, 20min walking) that has really excellent food
Lack of sympathy at check in to accommodate my booking request to stay in the main house
Lovely rooms, very comfortable. Great location, lovely grounds.
Lovely setting and rooms were nice and clean. Not too far outside Cambridge and near the park and ride. I would stay there again.
There was no option to eat in, but there was a pub serving food not too far away. Breakfast was ok, but a little pricey.
We completely enjoyed our stay at the Rectory. Room, atmosphere, welcome, and breakfast were all excellent, and we would certainly stay here again!
Secluded get away
Could be closer to town
The hotel was lovely. Excellent value for money and the staff were very friendly
Close to park and ride, nice farm view, helpful staff, clean and cosy room, ... everything.
Location as only 5 min drive to spark & Ride.
