Lovely surroundings, very peaceful. House very well kept and comfortable. Fire in breakfast room was very welcoming on a cold morning.
Advertised has having wifi in rooms but we were unable to access it. Access difficult to see at night.
Extra space for sitting
Gate which had to be opened on arrival;first impression was it was the wrong entrance
The Lodge has seen better days. Quite rightly needing a refurb as mentioned but has damp and looks like the walls are falling down. Pay extra and stop in other places
Excellent location, beautiful grounds, great service and having the separate apartments feels luxurious. Great value. Lovely touches would stay again. Owners should be proud as far superior to others I have stayed in.
nice and clean, lovely place. just the job for us
Convenient for Cambridge with park and ride station a short walk away . "Much too busy and expensive to drive and park in the city".Nice clean modern rooms . Would stay there again .
Thought breakfast price was expensive at £20 for a cooked breakfast. £10 for continental .
quiet, clean, friendly staff, lovely setting.felt secure. Tea making facilities in the room. lots of parking
The buildings were impressive, set in well kept grounds. Facilities in room good. Easy going into Cambridge itself, with a park and ride area with walking distance
The lock to the bedroom door
We liked the location and the comfort of the room. Very clean as well. We liked the continental breakfast. We didn't mind having to settle the bill as soon as you check in, even if it is a bit unusual.
Not given choice of breakfast when we checked in (we found out afterwards that you pay an extra £10 for a full English breakfast)
Clean Lovely white cotton starched sheets Good shower
Finding we were in one half of a 'suite' and thus sharing a lounge area with strangers - this was nit clear on booking Very bad wifi reception Only an hour available for breakfast and it cost £10 per head for an indifferent continental
Very comfortable room and very helpful staff.
Breakfast is not available until 8am, which was the time I needed to be leaving for work.
Lovely setting, reasonably close to town, walking distance to village and pub, well appointed room and dining facilities, attentive staff.
Drive into town in rush hour, made worse by road works. Not the fault of Rectory Farm!
I drove with my old timer true Engeland and Wales! This place is one of the better stays I had!
House was beautiful as we're the surroundings.
Disappointed to be placed in the Chalet accommodation when I selected and paid for House Double! Chalet was noisy with guests slamming doors.
Location to Cambridge and Park and Ride Breakfast was delicious Room was well appointed
A bit chilly in our room Room quite small Breakfast not included in room price
Great location, good staff, efficient service. Generally very pleasant for a B&B stay.
Lodge and house (breakfast) separate. Furniture in lodge is old rather than the targeted antique look (coffee table was so marked/stained as to be unusable). Egg boiler has an unattended alarm that is confused with a fire alarm.
Great Nights Sleep. Bed was a Snooze!
The property far exceeded our expectations from the moment we arrived via the lovely gated driveway. The family room was a treat. This massive room was clean and comfortable. Maybe a little dated but we loved it.
Easy walk to the park and ride. Comfy room if a little small.
Gentle murmur of the m 11 at night.
Location, quality of accommodation, helpful staff
Breakfast starting at 8.00am a bit late for business travellers
The room was very comfortable and the setting was really lovely.
The bed was comfortable, the breakfast room bright and the location was good for the park and ride.
The room was small, had a beam across the room giving about 5ft 3in headroom down one side of the bed. The towels were very thin and the breakfasts very expensive for what was on offer.
The room, the grounds, lovely
It would have been good if breakfast started earlier, and £10 seemed a bit steep for a continental breakfast
