Attractive Reception area; attractive Dining and Conservatory area; tastefully furnished Bedroom; good size television; tasteful decor throughout. The Reception staff were very friendly, courteous and efficient. We were not totally happy with our breakfast experience. The food seemed to have been precooked and reheated. Although we asked for a 'full English' no Hash Browns appeared on our plates and we had to point this out to the serving staff (who I believe was the young lady in charge).I thought she could have smiled a little. |

Very modern hotel with good size well appointed rooms close to Bury. Easy to find with large car park. Hard beds: good quality but uncomfortable. WiFi didn't work. Restaurant service was poor at one breakfast and at dinner. |

The staff were all extremely friendly and very helpful. The location was idealy situated for visiting Bury, Manchester and also close to the countryside. There was a good variety of food offered for breakfast and it was very well presented and wholesome. The only negative thing, which was no big deal, was that the corriders were extremely warm, but the staff explained that this was due to the overhead lighting. I only mention this as my mother is asmatic and did find it a bit uncomfortable. As we were only in the corriders for a short period of time it was no major problem. |

The hotel had been recently refurbished to a very high standard - surprisingly so given the modest rate. It was quiet and peaceful; a very pleasant surprise. The room was a trifle small as we had our dog with us (we also were charged for her despite not being warned this would happen until we received the bill on checkout). |
