Staff very friendly nothing to much trouble very professional.
Noise from the traffic.
Extremely welcoming and always willing to help with anything. Very nice breakfast freshly made for whatever time you need. The owners also let me use their washing machine and cooking facilities as I was there for some time. Would definitely recommend to anyone.
Warm welcome from Jo Barker; very comfortable and warm well-equipped bedroom, which was appreciated as weather was poor.
Nothing, really!. There could be a slight difficulty in getting out into the road during 'rush hour', but this was short-lived, and not a problem.
Welcoming couple nothing was to much trouble very clean food good we enjoyed our stay nice cup of tea in room
Quality of room and breakfast The warm welcome
We were the only guests and managed to park our car off road but this could have been a challenge. This property is on a busy road and you can hear traffic
Very friendly, helpful & hospitable
Extremely friendly and welcoming hosts who on arrival readily helped solve a seemingly minor problem (NOT related to the accommodation!) without hesitation.
Bathroom was enormous. The fact that it was across the hall made little difference. WiFi signal was excellent, the breakfast was very good and the two owners were very attentive.
The close proximity to the road meant that the room was occasionally quite noisy.
Friendly Helpful Location Facilities
Nothing to add here at all
Private Parking Quiet Comfy Clean Breakfast!! Personal Welcome and Send Off
Absolutely loved it. Staff very friendly and nice. Firat time going to a b&b and it was an excellent first experience. Rooms are lovely and homely. Very clean. Full english in the morning was great.
Cant fault this place at all
The people --owners The other guests The quality of the fixtures and fittings Cleanliness Homely atmosphere yet purposeful and efficient Parking off the main road
Nothing in particular -- all round a good deal and perceived value for money
Friendly staff good breakfast.
The house was immaculately clean and very comfortable, the breakfast was good we had a choice of cereal, a full English breakfast, yogurt and a fresh pot of tea and coffee. Jo and Eric the hosts were very friendly and most welcoming nothing too much trouble. We would definitely recommend this B&B as we intend to return.
The only drawback for us was we had to drive to eat out. (Although the pub next door "The Miners Arms" have a new landlord that will be doing meals in the near future)
Everything was perfect and at such a reasonable price
Lack of walking food points
Hosts were obliging and helpful with information. Rooms spotless and comfortable.Good filling English Breakfast. Handy location for all directions. Would certainly stay there again.
Nothing to complain about.
One of the best B&B's we've stayed at. Very comfortable, lovely owners and a reasonable price. Lovely breakfast, too!
Run by very welcoming couple, very clean and comfortable and excellent value for money.
Lovely B and B, Joanne and Eric a lovely couple. Rooms exceptional. Spotlessly clean, Comfy beds, Tea and Coffee making facilities, Breakfasts Excellent, Great place to stay in a great location.
Nothing not to like.
We were made to feel very welcome on arrival and showed to a beautiful room with en-suite facilities. A side door meant we were able to come and go without disturbing the owners. Very comfy bed and a good night's sleep even though the room overlooked the main Barrow road. Delicious cooked breakfast next morning. Off road parking. Excellent value.
The exit from the car park is onto a side road, which immediately leads on to the main road. This is a blind corner which could perhaps benefit from a mirror to allow vision of oncoming traffic. I decided it was safer to turn left and then turn round further up the road.
We enjoyed our stay very much!!Eveything was great! The hosts are absolutely lovely! Highly recommending this B and B !
There was nothing we didn't like! Everything was fabulous! Some people with very light sleep might be bothered by traffic when leaving the window open at night time.
Friendly helpful proprieter
Distance to acquire food.
Very comfortable and friendly
Friendly owners Comfortable room Cleanliness Delicious breakfast
I felt really at home here. The room was very ample, well accommodated and maintained to a very high standard. Breakfast was freshly-prepared and appealing. Joanna & Eric are delightful hosts.
If one had to 'nit-pick' it would be on the following bases: - location is just off a quite busy road - there are no public rooms available for guest-use.
