Just 15 minutes’ drive from Leicester’s centre, The Narborough Arms is friendly pub dating back to the 17th century. It offers traditional inn style rooms and boasts free on-site parking.

Location, simple clean room.
Breakfast wasn't available.
The accommodation is fine if you want somewhere to lay your head after a pub dinner (although no food on Mondays) Staff were friendly. The pub atmosphere was good and did not intrude on our sleep. Rooms were warm. Off street parking.
Bathroom was very basic; cold with no towel rail or floor mat and the shower curtain was mouldy at the bottom. No wardrobe in the twin room, although there were hooks on the back of the door. There was no breakfast offered although the website mentioned a continental style breakfast was available. Fortunately, this wasn't a problem for us.
Really friendly staff, comfortable and clean room. No complaints at all.
Fair sized room, quiet, comfortable bed
TV did not work due to poor signal.
I don't feel the reviews given for this place did it justice at all. Everything was clean and this place was exactly what i was looking for. Just goes to show, don't trust everything you read on the internet!
Only thing to suggest is perhaps adding the wifi passcode to the card given at check-in (its abit of a hassle having to go down to the bar to ask for it)
Clean and tidy Bed was comfy Room was warm Good wifi Friendly owners Ok its no premier inn but at the price they charge its great. Will stay again when i'm next in the area.
nothing, enjoyed my stay
Friendly and excellent directions to my onward destination
location and staff were brill. Good pub grub and very flexible chef too.
nothing really for us, few cobwebs around the corners of the room, but we just needed somewhere warm and friendly for our diving weekend - would definitely stay again.
Friendly. Good food.
The bed mattress needs replacing. I had to turn it myself but it still gave me a poor nights sleep.
Cheap, no frills, simple pub accommodation, with a Co-op just around the corner
Shower/toilet en-suite somewhat sad, tired and uncomfortable
Great staff and service
Food was good value and good portion size, real ale available. Friendly welcome and looked after well.
The owners are super people and we were made to feel very welcome. The food was very nice and the pub atmosphere suited us. The price - you can't complain.
The room was very basic. No where to hang clothes other than the back of the door.
No breakfast of any kind.TV broken unable to repair Very small room
Very helpful staff, friendly atmosphere and good quality of food and drink.
Accommodation in limited space but appropriate for a short stay.
Frankly I did not like a lot. The landlady was pleasant. The location suited my business needs.
The Red Lion is a run down pub and the accommodation is not great unless you are a builder on a job. No good for anyone who wants to feel in any way special during the stay. Me I just needed somewhere to stay at short notice in the right location. I had to leave early due to my sick wife in the USA. I was messed about by the landlord regarding a possible refund. Aloof is an understatement! what you see is what you get! I waited to place a review to see if he had any intention of giving me the refund he implied he would! It is not going to happen! Tourists, weekenders, couples, forget it. Go to The Mill on The Soar.
I was unsure of the best route to my destination the following day and the owners fell over themselves to advise me. then they left me completely alone with revision. very nice folks.
It was close to where we wanted to be
Tired decoration and not very clean - although the bed was clean enough. In spite of being advertised as B&B there was no breakfast served so we had to go elsewhere to find food
Great value and location
Walls are a bit thin so you can hear everything in the next room.
Evening meal very pleasant and also enjoyed the quiz.
No breakfast available. Would have been happy to pay extra, but was told it wasn't available
People were very friendly. Very good bar food in the evenings and good value.
Bed was the smallest ever and difficult to sleep. Room and toilet extremely small.
Friendly, functional and no strings. Value was excellent.
Room was very basic ,Shower leaked over the bathroom floor . The blind at the bedroom window did not work .The bed was probably the most uncomfortable thing I have ever slept on ,There is no mirror in the room so doing your hair or makeup is very difficult . The room is very dated and needs decorating quite badly Truthfully you can stay in nicer hotels for the same cost ,wouldn't recommend it at all
I couldn't stay at home for this price, highly recommend
Location, value for money pub grub, pub atmosphere, the couple that own the location were very friendly and helpful.
Bathroom was slightly primitive but usable.
