Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, the room was nice and clean and equipped with all we needed. Very good breakfast with lots of options to choose from. Good location in Headington, with a bus stop just outside. Absolutely recommended.

Nothing not like
Great location within walking distance of good eating houses, universities and bus into centre. The room was clean, warm and very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. I wish we could have stayed for longer!
The room was very clean, warm and comfortable. It was very well presented. Everything we needed was provided (including bottled water and biscuits, as well as the usual tea and coffee). Staff were polite and friendly and the breakfast was well-cooked and plentiful.
Slightly noisy from the road if the bedroom is at the front of the house.
brilliant welcome excellent room & facilities assistance with visit to Oxford fantastic breakfast
The location was excellent on a main road on the way into the centre of Oxford. 7-10 minutes on the buses which were very regular. Decor and furnishings very good. Breakfast excellent and all the staff could not help enough.
Me and my friend were warmly welcomed at this guest house from the owners. The room was available shortly after our arrival and it was clean and really cosy. The breakfast was good, better the things cooked by the owners, a bit less appealing the brioche that were from the supermarket, but still good! Well connected to oxford with the busses 8,9,u1 and 280, which are a bit expensive as in general here in England I suppose. The indications were brilliantly provided by the owner which explained us immediately at our arrival all the connection and the local features.
I can not find any significant complaint except that the breakfast is provided in a early and short period of time 7.30 to 9, which for us was a bit early because when we are on holiday we like getting up later than usual, but it was fine though.
I loved the hosts (Rhoda and Martin) who made me feel very welcome in Red Mullions guesthouse. Breakfast was very delicious - you can choose out of few options. I also really liked my room - it was very spacious and comfortable. The place which I would definitely recommend to everyone! I cannot imagine staying anywhere else next time I'm in Oxford!
If you want to walk to the city center, it's quite far and takes around 30-40 minutes. However, for the people who have their own cars or want to use public transport, it should not be a problem as it takes only 5-10 minutes to get to the city center with the car or by bus!
The room was very preety and clean! Good staff! Amazing breakfast! Just a very homely environment!
The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Good location with bus stop right outside the door. My sister and I were traveling with my mother so there were three in our room (a family room.) It was very comfortable. Would stay again if the occasion to be there ever arose.
Friendly helpful staff, lovely breakfast, clean well equipped room with fabulous bathroom
Location is good and free parking. Staff seemed to be nice.
The bed was not comfortable, bed linen colour was really bad taste. Room decor so far away even compared with three star hotels. Bathroom was big but poor set up. Also kind of funny smell in the room. Definitely overated with 8.8.
The whole facility ticks all of the boxes for a business traveller. Good tips for getting around.
Late night visitor.
Very friendly and helpful staff bright clean and spacious guest house , breakfast was excellent so much choice more than anyone could eat would highly recommend it
The owner was very helpful and booked us taxis as we were in a rush for a wedding. Sky sports was an added bonus in a BnB!
Very small room and quite a hard bed.
Friendly kind hospitable staff. Nothing was a trouble for the staff. They did everything they could to make your stay as easy as possible.
The staff was amazing and very welcoming. Our room was ready early. We had a nice parking spot and breakfast. The city was easy to get to on public transportation, right outside our door! Lots of TV channels if that's what you want, though we preferred to see the city!
Bathroom had a strange smell at first, but then aired out fine over time.
Comfortable and clean room.
Very nice and clean guest house situated in an excellent location. Very polite and helpful staff. Easy to find parking space, free of charge. Definitely would use again on our next visit to Oxford.
As in most hotels and guest houses (>99%) there are no reading lights. The light was very dim. Suggest fitting a small inexpensive reading light.
