Plenty of space for our family of 4 and the room was comfortable and pretty. Breakfast was good quality. Convenient to Oxford with bus stop just across the street. Host friendly and great with kids. Breakfast, while good, was fairly slow and our orders were all mixed up. I specified egg flipped over and cooked to medium, but it came sunny side up. Since breakfast doesn't even start until 8:30 (too late, in my opinion) and it was already slow, I didn't bother to send it back as we wanted to make the most of our time in Oxford.

The stay was excellent from beginning to end. I was working at the John Radcliffe Hospital for a week, and stayed for 5 nights. The lovely gentleman running Red Mullions carried my back to the room. The room was very comfortable, and the heating had been put on for me, which was wonderful as it was bitterly cold. T The bed was very comfortable, and all facilities were excellent for the entire week. The room was made up each day. The breakfast was plentiful and cooked fresh for you. Room has TV and DVD player. You receive your own entry key and can enter when you please. Red Mullions is a short walk from Headington shops, where there are plenty of eateries worth trying. Oxford is only about 15 mins away by bus - £4 for a 24 hour bus pass. I did not get any hot water from the taps in my room, but I did not report this, and it was not a problem for me. The shower heated up its own water I believe, and this suited me fine.

Our room was spacious and very comfortable. As well as coffee and tea in our room, free bottled water was also provided. The breakfast was very good and plentiful. One minor and one potentially major gripe. Firstly the table for two people in the dining room was a bit cramped although this is more of an observation than a complaint. The second issue concerned the car park. Bearing in mind that the 'vacancies' sign was showing, if there were any more visitors with cars, I don't know where they would park.

The room was well appointed, clean & comfortable. For breakfast there was plenty of choice and everything was well cooked. The bus into the city centre was only a few metres from the guest house and buses ran often, even on Sunday, with the trip into the city centre only taking a few minutes. There was parking available at the guest house.

The helpful and friendly staff and the breakfast. The lack of hot water! Also only 2 small towels for a couple and a child. I find it highly dubious for these reasons that this hotel has 4 star status.

Very helpful, when mentioned that I was running in the Half Marathon the next morning, they very kindly offered us breakfast half an hour earlier than usual, to give me time to eat and set off.
