We have stayed in hotels all over the world and would like to say that this is the worst hotel that you could ever book the bed was not fit for any animal to sleep on let alone human beings the staff did not or would not give you a number for a manager or owner to talk to We think that it is disgusting that booking.com even advertise this property on their web site
Room felt like some squat in a slum area.
Great location. Staff seemed friendly and quite helpful.
Plumbing was quite noisy when using the bathroom. Mattress wasn't that good. But was ok for just the short stay we were there.
Its easy walking distance from the restaurants, pubs and shops and the Christmas Market. Our shower was clean and had excellence water pressure but this is room specific as friends staying on another floor got just a trickle of water from their shower The lobby is very welcoming and has a traditional hotel feel which was a pleasant surprise
The hotel desperately needs a refurb. There were damp marks on the walls, the blinds and headboard had seen better days. The skylight in the bathroom didn't look like it had been cleaned in ages!
Location was great and easy to find from walking - train/bus station. It was the cheapest place I could find at short notice as it was busy weekend for Xmas markets. It did its purpose and the bathroom was clean, towels were clean. It was fine for one night stay
The single bed mattress was horrible and uncomfortable. The pillows were flat and there was no duvet/doona. Just a very thin blanket which wasn't the greatest either. I also smoke occasionally and inside smelt smoky but not inside the room (inside the downstairs staircase)
Location close to town centre. Cheap.
Room very basic. Bed uncomfortable and little bedclothes. Room cold, heater didn't work. No breakfast available.
Carpets needed cleaning or replacing
It was very close to Town
The mould in the bedroom, the broken bed dirty sheets, the dirty bathroom, hole in the bath, no heating... the list is endless. We even changed rooms and that was just as bad. I would not suggest anyone book this room, when we complained to the staff, they just gave us an email address to complain to, they were not interested!
Nice lounge area with character, especially at Xmas time. Bathroom and linen very clean. Room decent size with good lighting. Only few minutes walk to centre and around 10-15 to train station. Staff friendly and helpful, on site 24 hours.
Mattress very old, gave no support at all. TV very small. Wifi only available in lounge. Lots of stairs and no lift but staff willing to carry luggage if asked. Room had two wall heaters, both not working, so had all oil heater as well
Decore needs updating Rotten window frames Bed very uncomfortable feel all the Springs and I can sleep any where
Served the purpose of a bed for the night
Room very cramped, in poor condition
The room was dated and the bathroom even worse. The photos shown on this site don't give a true picture of the decor. Sorry
good position in centre of town
hideous view from window
Double bed crammed against wall. Very uncomfortable bed, could feel the springs digging in as you laid on it. Mold all across ceiling of very cramped en suite. Heating plugged in via extension cable which kept clicking off. Hole in plug so unable to fill sink. No lifts. Would NEVER return
Location and cost were great. Nice hot showers. Friendly and helpful staff.
Insufficient parking spaces. Thin walls
The location was perfect but that is all I can really say about the place.
I had recently had an operation on my leg and there were no facilities for anyone disabled. The heating was very poor and the heated towel rail did not work. Some of the lights didn't work and it was so dark it was difficult to see to put make-up on etc. My partner left his car and house keys behind in a drawer in the room. We called them up when we got back and they confirmed they had found them and if I sent an email with my address they would post them to me. I did that on Monday and asked them to let me know when they had been sent. I called twice today - first response was they knew nothing about them. Second response was they had them and they MIGHT post them out tomorrow. I am not hopeful
Location was good.
We had no heating. This was in December. I had to use the towels to pad out my bed because the springs were protruding through the mattress. My husband slept on top of the sheet and ONE blanket (no duvet?!) in his clothes. If it wasn't for meeting my daughter the next day I would have driven home!!!!
It is faded and rundown and it is NOT luxurious. But the Romanian staff are very friendly and helpful and the rooms, whilst full of rather tired furniture, are clean and cosy. I have no idea why the place is being allowed to fall apart in such a fabulous location but it isn't the staff's fault. It is centrally located adn great for one night.
The beds are NOT comfortable, but it was only one night. in the middle of Bath!!!
the rooms are tired, cold and damp, no lift and no breakfast
Basic - you get what you pay for. Good location. Simple. No complaints other than they could do with duvets on the beds instead of blankets.
Room smelt of smoke really badly even with the window left open.
Very good location, good value for money, pleasant staff, tea and coffee in room
Slightly worn down, no internet
Getting away in the morning.
Rude manager. No parking. Inferior bathroom. Dirty carpets. A mattress with no adequate covering. Minimal bed covers. Tiny room. Lack of double glazing.
Close to the city centre.
Hotel requires redecoration, curtains ripped, bed spead stained, room smelt musty and was cold. The bathroom needed gutting and refitting.
Location Christmas tree Friendly welcome
size of room (114) Curtains did not close (G2) so had light from street light all night Carpets and funtishings shabby and worn in both rooms Reception smelt of cigarettes
