Location was good. Room was clean. Staff were friendly.
Windows didnt close properly and blinds didn't fit properly.
The location is excellent
The accommodation is tired. When I couldn't find my key and the hotel had no spare key to my room it was very inconvenient.
Location was excellent & within walking distance of the town centre. Staff were very good & helped us to the room with our bags & offered to move our rooms the next day if we wanted as we were on the top floor and one of our party was very infirm and elderly. The Room was clean. There was plenty of tea & coffee. There was parking but first come first served.
The cost of the room was far too high for the quality of the room and dated facilities plus it didn't include breakfast. The matresses were squeeky & uncomfortable, whilst one person tossed & turned in one twin bed, it woke the other. There was a shaft of light illuminating the room under the door which was unsettling. The hot water was luke warm in the morning. The hotel needs to be gutted & refurbished. There was no lift & we were on the top floor. There was another guest having a row over the poor night sleep they had at reception on checking out. I felt sorry for the staff who all looked like students who were well aware of the hotel's downfalls.
Location was handy to the city.
The mattress was so old you could feel every spring. Consequently a very poor nights sleep.
The hotel was well situated within a short walking distance of the city centre. Bath itself is a beautiful city with lots to look at. City bus tours well worth the money.
The décor was quite dated, and in need of refreshing - peeling paintwork in common areas. Dirty marks on the wall in my single room, mould on the ceiling above the shower cubicle, no towel rail on which to put wet towel after shower.
Location great, building beautiful , and car park on site
This hotel once belonged to my family, so I longed to see it again, but it is very run down, needing refurbishment ! Rooms small, mould on bath, tv not working, really unkempt. No dining room or breakfast option.
Location close to city centre, clean towels and sheets
No lift, limited car parking, grungy bathroom with very dangerous shower (temperature uncontrollable), lumpy bed, no food
Needs complete renovationand wifi
Everything other than location!
Just one blanket on the bed so was very cold! And also the place was a bit run down
Ok so it's not a Hilton but for the price it's good. If like us you just use it for somewhere to sleep then because of the location it's great. The hotel needs a bit of tlc and if you are a bit snobbish and can't look past that then this isn't the place for you
Compact little single room, clean.
Being woken after going to bed, asked to move my car, despite a transit van being in the same spot the previous night. Being woken at 6:25 the next morning by sunlight laundry service van. Impossible car park. Listening to the next room visitor's TV.
Lack of breakfast
Pretty central location. That's it!
Shabby reception. Fausty corridors. 2" mattress that meant we didn't get much sleep. Decor really shabby, ripped curtains.
Good quiet location, staff helpful and apologetic about condition of hotel and rooms.
Very shabby, has seen better days and in need of total refurbishment. Unlikely to stay there again.
Position just metres form city centre-
Maintenance - Windows, bathroom light and shower door
as above...everything else...the bed was so awful, every time I moved the springs "twanged"..VERY BAD NIGHT'S SLEEP
Good price Location Friendliness and helpfulness of staff
Small room No breakfast included
EXCELLENT LOCATION REASONABLE PRICE FOR THE LOCATION
NO MEAL FACILITIES PARKING IS A LOTTERY THAT CAN BE EXPENSIVE DECOR NEEDS UPDATING
room are big and nice!
Poor parking no breakfast hotel is very down at heal and needs complete makeover overall very substandard
This 'hotel' has the rudest staff & customers we have ever come across. There was nothing good about whatsoever. Awful awful place.
It had damp on ceilings & the carpet was filthy. There was something black on the corner rim of the bath. The toilet overflowed when flushed & staff didnt care about anything. Absolutely horrendous.
Unhelpful staff, insufficient parking for guests, tatty room (carpet loose, ripped curtains, dripping toilet, broken bedside light) and one of the most uncomfortable mattresses I've ever slept on. I even paid extra for a four poster bed. I shall not be returning to this hotel.
Reception area is very nice.
Our room was damp, the carpet was filthy, there was a big gap between the carpet and the wall, the bed is as comfortable as a lead slab! Noisy, t.v didn't work, toilet was filthy as was shower. All in all, overpriced for a terrible nighta sleep.
Easy access to Bath city centre Value for money Free parking during the week
Very dated decor
