Location was good. Central to Bath. The rooms were too basic. The beds below par (cheap and uncomfortable). The bathroom sink was so small as to be almost unusable with no where to rest razor / foam toothbrush or paste. On the plus side, the linen was crisp and clean. |

The two ladies on reception were very pleasant. The serving staff in the breakfast room were also kind . Very poor value for money.Second rate ingredients for breakfast-poor quality bacon and cereals.Discreet little adverts suggested that the teabags were of very high quality when in fact they tasted like catering stock. The bathroom was very poor-the wash-basin was so small that it was difficult to get both hands in and there was nowhere to hang towels e.g. no hooks or shelves. There was no soap-dis |

The location of the hotel close to Great Pulteney Street and the breakfast included was really good. Advertised as "double room". However was tiny in reality. Based on cost of £65 a night, I did not consider it to be good value for money and would have paid slightly more for something bigger. Also, discovered a large bag of rubbish in the bottom of the wardrobe left there by the previous guest(s). A large skylight directly above the bed meant I was unabpe to sleep after sunrise. |
