Both myself and my partner thouroughly enjoyed our stay at the hotel and will certainly return. The owner was very accomedating and offered us a better room simply because it was available. It was a beautiful room and certainl;y added to our visit. The location and lay out of the hotel is fantastic and it is extremelly picturesque. We also both had a breackfast which was delicious.

Warm and friendly welcome. Comfortable room with adequate heating. Very good full English breakfast. Can recommend and would happily stay there again. The single main light in the room could do with being of a higher wattage - for reading and writing. One tap in the bathroom was loose - but manageable. Neither worth a complaint!

I work away from home a lot and try to find family run hotels rather than the chain hotels where available. I feel safer and more able to relax in smaller establishments because you are not just another face in the crowd. The Redcliffe was perfect for my needs and a home from home. I stayed in a garden room with four poster bed that was very comfortable and luxurious. A room like that would cost hundreds of pounds in a chain hotel (if you could get one) and not something I can justify on my company credit card. The value for money is unbelievable and I was not penalized on price as a single guest. Breakfast was excellent. I had a fantastic dinner at San Luca restaurant, just a five minute walk away. I would definitely return here for business and pleasure.

Clean. Room made up everyday. Very good breakfast. Not vat registered so probably not great for international travelers as you will not be able to claim any vat back when you leave the country.

The house and rooms have been kept in the character of its Edwardian heritage - great views of the river and paths along the river bank are within walking distance. Excellent service.

An independent and family run business, providing a personal touch to my stay. The house and rooms have real character, in a setting right next to the river - an ideal venue for an evening walk.

The staff. The location to the venue of the wedding that we were attending. Our room was looking a bit tried in places especially the bathroom. Also all room to the front of the house had the noise from the a63 which is where we were.

Close to the country park and the Humber foreshore The only thing 'luxury' about this B&B is the price! I had either a water pump for a power shower or some other machinery nearby that wakes you up very early in the morning and late in the evening. I had full English the first morning, the bacon was raw, the egg served broken, the sausage was sausage shaped and there ended the similarity. There're a well known 'chain' just up the road - try there instead. This is the first time I've ever felt the need to give a negative feedback!

I was working in Hull and north Lincolnshire and it was great to stay somewhere with such a country atmosphere but which was within easy reach of the city and all main routes. I was made very welcome and there was plenty of advice on travel and the locality. There are two good eating places within ten minutes' walk or five minutes' drive. I had a large room with plenty of space to work in the evenings. I was 'upgraded' without extra cost to a room with a garden view as it was available during my stay. As in so many places today there is a distant background hum of traffic from a main road, but this was no problem to me.

Only one night stay, but could not fault the service starting from a warm friendly welcome, lovely room, combined with comfort and style, which overlooked the garden. Delicious home cooked breakfast. Slight smell of cooking was the only thing we noticed on arrival, and strong smell of breakfast cooking in the morning.
