Relax, work or socialize close to the Humber River at Village Hull, complete with health club, spa facilities, a fantastic restaurant and pub and The Hub meeting and conference center.
Score from 260 reviews Very good
Terrific friendly staff and everything you could want from a guesthouse. Two minute walk to the Humber and nice pub.
Fairly busy roads nearby. Good sound proofing though.
Brilliant rooms, Friendly Staff and very accommodating, nothing was to much trouble, the breakfast was outstanding, brilliant Stay.
Lovely and clean , great power shower , comfy bed , nice breakfast , I would stay there again no problem
Loved the rooms never stayed in bnbs but this one was just amazing, Would deffo stay again
Friendly, no hassle and a really nice room that was very comfortable and quiet.
I liked the character of the building and my garden room was lovely. The bed was so comfortable and the breakfast was freshly cooked to order.. lovely. Mia is very friendly and welcoming. I would definitely stay here again and thinking of staying for a weekend next time and for leisure. Thank you Mia.
The temperature control on my shower didn't work so I needed to wash in the sink which was quite inconvenient. I reported this to Mia on leaving who apologised however no recompense was offered which I thought would have been forthcoming given my inconvenience. Otherwise everything was great.
We were totally looked after, and were able to truly relax, nothing was too difficult.
The property is in a lovely location with friendly owners
The room had cobwebs as though it may not have been used / cleaned properly for some time
The style of the room was a major factor to booking.
Although the bathroom complimented the room the shower was in need of repair/replacement.
Lovely place to stay. Mia is very helpful and accomodating. We will be going back next year :)
Friendly hostess Mia Felt like we were in our own home Lovely big room Good facilities Great location
Bed was a little small for one 6ftish man with broad shoulders and one 5ft 8 lady!
Could not fault anything at Redcliffe House
Friendly, helpful, comfortable, welcoming
I have no complaints
Very spacious room , light and airy overlooking lovely garden. Sitting outside in garden very peacefull. Good wi-fi and modern flat screen TV . Fridge use. Plenty car parking space.
Room getting tired with parts deteriating. Black mould in shower. Room not cleaned 2nd night with shower, sink, toilet, bed ect all left although after complaining it was offered to be cleaned but so inpractable when we were back in room would have been embarrassing. After arriving was 1st offered a room so dark was depressing and so was offered upgrade but was £ 57 extra and offered a paltry refund after complaining about the room service of £10 refund. Wouldn't embarrass myself with debating it Would have had breakfast but another £57 extra seemed so overpriced refused it. Owner comes over all nice till money is mentioned. Won't be staying there again
Love this hotel - couldn't get better - second visit and will be back again
Absolutely can't fault anything
excellent communication with staff, nothing to much trouble, very helpful, found out times straight away for the train into Hull which was only 5 mins away, and very reasonable. would highly recommend this accommadation
The owner rang the week before to say the room we booked wasnt available (already booked) so we had to settle for a double instead of the excecutive which we werent happy about as the double was quite small
Handy location for our visit. Peaceful and quiet so a good night's sleep. Owner was very friendly and helpful. Nice garden and outlook. Wi fi all over the house so I could use my tablet in my room which is something that many big hotels don't have.
Only real thing I'd change is a sugar free option for my diabetic husband at breakfast. I would have thought that one of the cereals could have been a 'no added sugar' and also a diabetic, or sugar free, jam or marmalade would have been nice.
Clean Room Warm Welcome Friendly Staff Excellent Price (value for money) Lovely location near the foreshore country park Power Shower
very comfortable, first class breakfast, everything i needed, good location for Hull as train can be taken due to 5 min walk to Station.
nothing as everything was fine
Staff made you feel welcome and completely at ease. Surroundings beautiful
The friendliness of the staff. The warmth that greeted you when arriving back on a cold night.
A shower that initially blasted cold water.
Well maintained Victorian property. Spacious en suite bedroom with comfortable bed. Good breakfast with plenty of options on the menu
There was nothing not to like
Had a lounge which myself and a colleague used for a business meeting. Nice big house.
Pretty well everything - lovely room, good breakfast and fantastic views over the humber and the bridge.
Only downside the pillows - they were pretty hard and didn't do my kneck a lot of good but that's only a little not like!
