Staff rush you and are sometimes rude.
This was our first time at the Redcliff and I know I will be back! Amazing hotel for 3* great location and good history
Bed wasn't the comfiest bed but was still ok other then that I can't fault the place
Location and parking good.
The lady in the bar very unhelpful. Our travelling companion requested a cup of hot water which was refused even though the lady in the bar had to go to the kitchen to get the coffee my husband and I requested. Also small shampoo etc should be placed in the rooms. Having run a small hotel myself even our basic rooms had toiletries in for the traveller who may have forgotten.
Location and pleasant manner of staff.
Poor quality bed.
The hotel was warm and inviting staff were very friendly and the bedroom was tastefully decorated.
I asked for tomato and bacon but thought I might have had more than one small rasher and the toast was rather soggy.
swimming pool, friendliness of staff
very poor wifi. clarity of information on booking.com. there was no indication of the £7 extra for seaview.
Breakfasts , hotel environment good inside and out ,friendly helpful staff
Room got hot during night
Room94 allocated to me was a very small and VERY VERY Cold room due to lack of double glazing. I did get it changed on request later, but I should not have been allocated such a room at the normal rate
Breakfast. View. Location. Swimming pool & sauna
I don't want my bed making while I'm having breakfast. I suspected this might happen but my room didn't have any 'do not disturb' signs. I was going to lie in the bed to make some calls and texts but felt this wasn't a good idea with the bedding changed for the next guest. No guest soap or shampoo in the room also a bit cheap
The bed was very comfortable and the room was nice and clean.
The breakfast was overcooked.
Temperature. To warm.
The relaxed atmosphere and friendly service
the dining room and outdoor pool area
no atmosphere in the bar.
Views excellent and staff were very helpfull
Very dated bedrooms, room was very stuffy, bad decor, could do with a spice up in terms of gloss paint and emulsion. Shower was also poor.
Looking for a hotel for one night and came across this hotel. Staff were fab. Breakfast was really excellent. Liked it so much stayed an extra night. Definitely going to go back .
Nothing not to like. Everything was great. First class
We liked everything about the hotel, the staff were very helpful and the facilities first class.
Staff friendly helpful Food good
Weak wi fi
the ambiance the staff
the menu was a little limited
Hotel had modern facilities although maintained the old fashion feel very well. A nice place to relax good food too and the staff were attentive
Quality hotel Friendly staff
A little pricey
location right on the beach good food served in the bar
lack of choice and biscuits on coffee tray in room
In general we had be patient and tolerant dealing with a self proclaimed staff that needs training of courtesy, correctness, and health and safety.
We did not like our special request for no stairs or lift being ignored when booked into a second floor. The least we expected was notice of their inabilty to comply before travelling as a matter of courtesy at least. We also noted a few goings on in the restuarant in particular by unchecked elder staff. Perhaps not significant but concerning was warmed up milk left overs being poured back into the chilled server when recovering tables, and leaving cheeses out for the entire evening dinner session withought ice or chilling during a heat wave. Our allocated turret room was just adequate but seriously in need of a referb. I actually took some pictures to remind me of how much some hotels put profit before service. Respect is about action, not rhetoric without meaning.
The welcome we received from all of the staff was exceptional
The Radcliffe is well located on the seafront with its own private access to the beach. There is a leisure club with indoor pool and steam room, jacuzzi and sauna as well as a heated outdoor pool. The rooms are airy and clean and the staff friendly and polite. Pete MacDonald
very friendly staff, excellent breakfast. clean rooms.
we stayed in the tower on 2nd floor. nice room but only a small window. room very hot. no fans available at reception to use. shower was either boiling hot or freezing cold. .
