Friendly staff, good food Rather noisy due to proximity to busy road, and from the pub below until about 12 midnight. Room though comfortable was very small, with nowhere to sit to eat the breakfast provided in the room.

I got a good welcome from the staff. The decor needs to be updated - the curtains didn't close properly and were old and in need of replacement. When I was taken to the room I was shown a fridge in the wardrobe, with a cheery "Your breakfast's in there." In other words it was do it yourself. Friday night is music night - so I got to sing along with all the songs - the only problem was I was not in the pub, I was just above it.

clean and tidy with friendly staff. A bit disconcerted by the 'breakfast in a cupboard. There was live music which we found very noisy and not conducive to sleep!

Clean and Tidy Spacious Room. Good location with easy access to the tube. Friendly staff. Good value for money. The noise levels due to the banging of the entrance door leading to the pub.

The room was much bigger and nicer than I expected. It's above a pub, so noisy until late, but that's normal I suppose. Friendly staff.

The location which was near to our offices. One of the rooms the shower door would only open half way. Television did not work. The second room again the shower door would not open fully and the shower head was broken with the guest having to physically hold the shower. I have left a message for them to call me but have not received a reply.

Guest House is not an accurate description. It is an old English Pub with upstairs accommodation which is basic but comfortable. Downside was the very noisy bar downstairs until late night. Breakfast was pre- packed, in the room, adequate.

The staff are friendly and try to be cooperative. The building and furnishings have seen better days, and the proprietor says it will be radically upgraded in early 2012. It's a pretty traditional London pub, with all that means! Having a Bar fridge was good. So was wifi. Best to forget about the 'breakfast' and go get good coffee and scrambled eggs at the deli across the road!

Not a good experience - no hot water. We did get a fifty percent reduction. Web site is nothing like the hotel. We would not recommend this hotel.

It was conveniently situated close to bars and restaurants and within easy reach of Wimbledon tennis which was the reason for our visit. It was quite noisy being on the Heathrow flight path.

The Red Cow is conveniently located in Richmond, handy for Twickenham, Kew Gardens and other attractions. The area is relaxed with plenty of places to eat / drink around. The pub has a relaxed atmosphere, and the rooms clean with good facilities (fridge, satellite tv, ensuite etc). Its comfortable rather than luxurious, but reasonable value when compared to other places nearby. Staff were friendly, room was very clean, and the option of being able to check in from noon is also helpful. I can see that some people may find the noise of the pub below frustrating if the pub is particularly busy or they have a function on. The night of our stay was relatively quiet, but there was inevitably some noise from the street outside. This was not a problem for us but could be for any one with a young family.

The most enjoyable part of our stay was the fact that everyone was so friendly. Everyone went out of thier way to make sure that we were well looked after. The regular customers also made us feel welcome. We would all come back to stay with no problem. Parking could have been an issue but was resolved easily. We certainly struck lucky.
