A short walk from the center of Richmond and train/Tube (subway) stations, the cozy, popular Red Cow is a restored inn offering home-cooked bar food and comfortable accommodations. Great little stay in Richmond. I had Room 3, the smallest, but still nicely done. No Breakfast laid on, but croissants and juice in Fridge, so a really good compromise. A bit noisy over the pub, but quietens down after 11. Recommended as a value for money city spot. Tom also very helpful. It's in a pub, so expect some noise.

We prefer to stay at pub/guesthouses as they are more friendly and more accessible. The Red Cow fitted the bill perfectly A cooked breakfast was included in the price I suppose we are not used to the noise from the Heathrow flight path and a busy street but this was a trade off for the very convenient location

The location which was near to our offices. One of the rooms the shower door would only open half way. Television did not work. The second room again the shower door would not open fully and the shower head was broken with the guest having to physically hold the shower. I have left a message for them to call me but have not received a reply.

The staff and manager were very good and very willing to assist. The decor of the common parts of the hotel left a lot to be desired with worn and grubby carpets

It was conveniently situated close to bars and restaurants and within easy reach of Wimbledon tennis which was the reason for our visit. It was quite noisy being on the Heathrow flight path.

The Red Cow is conveniently located in Richmond, handy for Twickenham, Kew Gardens and other attractions. The area is relaxed with plenty of places to eat / drink around. The pub has a relaxed atmosphere, and the rooms clean with good facilities (fridge, satellite tv, ensuite etc). Its comfortable rather than luxurious, but reasonable value when compared to other places nearby. Staff were friendly, room was very clean, and the option of being able to check in from noon is also helpful. I can see that some people may find the noise of the pub below frustrating if the pub is particularly busy or they have a function on. The night of our stay was relatively quiet, but there was inevitably some noise from the street outside. This was not a problem for us but could be for any one with a young family.

Due my commitment I decided to leave second day,I inform them in first day at 04.00pm, they said will charge me for two night this day night and next day - their justification that their policy should the customer declare his change plan 24Hours before check out. This is the first time face this condition.

The most enjoyable part of our stay was the fact that everyone was so friendly. Everyone went out of thier way to make sure that we were well looked after. The regular customers also made us feel welcome. We would all come back to stay with no problem. Parking could have been an issue but was resolved easily. We certainly struck lucky.

Clean and Tidy Spacious Room. Good location with easy access to the tube. Friendly staff. Good value for money. The noise levels due to the banging of the entrance door leading to the pub.

Location is excellent for Richmond train station. Staff member who showed me to my room was excellent and efficient. Overall I thought it was good value for money but would only use again if usual places fully booked like this time. I know it is a small thing but no hair dryer in the room. I had not brought one as very rare these days that a hotel does not have. Room was also quite noisy from bar down stairs which could bother some people.

Comfortable clean room with very large king size bed. Had everything you needed and an adequate continental breakfast stored neatly in the cupboard! Pleasant staff. Would definitely stay there again.
