The Red Lion is a charming pub and hotel with easy access to highways M25, M1 and A1, and train services to central London. The hotel dates back to 1906, when Radlett was a major train junction in the early 19th century. The hotel has now fully refurbished the bar, dining room and guests areas. London's Kings Cross and Luton Airport are both just 20 minutes away by direct train. Freshly prepared British cuisine is available in the restaurant and bar area. Hotel guests also have use of a local gym, for an extra fee. Hotel Rooms: 13

The hotel is well placed for visiting family. The hotel has ben refurbished and the accommodation is much improved on last year. The central heating appeared noisy especially in the night when all else was quiet.

1. Dedicated parking for hotel guests that was secure. 2. Excellent customer service. 3. Breakfast was excellent. 4. Bed - whole room - was comfy. 5. Bathroom was clean and well equipped; excellent water pressure and heat! 6. Generally high level of decoration and finish. 1. There was quite a bit of traffic outside but that was to be expected bearing in mind the position. 2. It was a little pricey especially when we found out that the friends who were having their engagement party there had negotiated a special deal with the hotel manager which undercut your price by £25.00

It was convenient to rail and London. The hotel, food and hospitality was great Not sure how people with a disability or aged would manage the stairs. The steps in the hall were not signed. Maybe this should be noted on the web page.

The bedroom was comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. The bathroom was too small. It was not possible to get any food whatsoever after 9:30 - which is unacceptable to business people who don't get back to the hotel until late, The hotel appeared to be a gastropub from the photos; however it is more of a locals drinking haunt (fruit machines in the bar) with mediocre dinner menu & rooms!. The pub is also a part of the Youngs brewery chain rather than individually owned - which probably goes some way towards explaining the presence of vending machines; majority of drinkers rather than diners etc.....

Leuk klein maar erg gezellig ingericht hotel. Mooie schone kamer net nieuw ingericht.

Hotel, ontbijt, kamers & onthaal waren prima!
