Very easy to get to and the staff was very helpful
Clean, Bar, Games room
WiFi drops during the evening, had to switch off my WiFi and use 3G on my phone, it was faster
Staff friendly and helpful. Bar/games room available if wanted.
Could smell smoke from the smoking rooms. Rooms just needed updating a bit.
The first room smelled of vomit, the shower was filthy, the bed linen was stained. After complaining we changed rooms to one which was at least clean but still grubby and tired looking. We had to ask for lights to go on at breakfast.
I needed to be in Huntingdon early the next morning. Not knowing the area, I found Redwing ideally situated. Was easy enough to find. No problem parking. There was a small bar. If you wanted to eat, the Indian restaurant next door was very convenient. I had an undisturbed night's sleep and had no trouble getting to my appointment the next morning.
Helpful & friendly staff, was ideal stay for us for a night on our route through. It is just off the dual carriageway, but says so & noise is no problem.
The staff were friendly
Could've done with better pillows
Good price, clean, comfortable
Not easy to find in the dark
24 hour reception Tea and coffee in the room Clean sheets
No shelf in the bathroom No towel rail
Superb, understated, hidden away secret hotel! Clean, good staff, parking, excellent value for money. Stayed with wife, two sons with girlfriends and the mother in law! 4 excellent rooms. Great breakfast included.
not alot, hidden away behind a large indian restaraunt! bigger signs please
Friendly staff. Close proximity to a great Indian Buffet restaurant. Cheap pool table in playable condition.
The smoking rooms are no more :-(. Only showers en-suite, no baths.
Staff were very rude
Comfortable stay great value for money.
Friendly welcome by front desk and breakfast Staff. Relaxed atmosphere. Simple, no-nonsense breakfast. A comfortable stay. We would visit again.
Although the room was clean there was a distinct smell of cigarettes. There were fresheners in the room and a sign stating the hotel was now fully non-smoking. Perhaps the room was a former smokers room! If we stay again we will make comment at reception at the time. We would still visit again though.
The items rated 'Good', above.
Not impressed, on two counts. a) Getting to the place: the local roads are complicated by the 'Hampton Court Maze' of roundabouts and poor signage; a 'Redwings' sign 200 metres before the site would be a great help in preparing to turn in, and signal any adjacent traffic; and the path through / around the garage and the Spice restaurant had to be learned by experience - more signage would be of great value. b) All staff were very pleasant, but our stay merely served our purpose; I put it no higher than that - we will seek a small guest house in the area in future. We find then superior to the more commercial establishments. Also: 'Comfort ' rated 'Fair' is because the chairs were the hard, upright style - armchairs would have been more comfortable for the evening times spent there. And lying on the bed to watch TV is no substitute! Alan Hinton, Bournemouth Stayed 11,12,13 October Room 130
value for money, nice thrown in breakfast of toast n cereal . comfy and quiet
we wanted to be as close to my daughters as possible , we put in the postcode for the party , your website stated 3 miles from party to hotel . Reality when we arrived it was almost 12 miles away which spoilt our celebration.
Good value Comfortable beds
Shower wasn't very good at all Could hardly call the breakfast 'Continental'! only a selection of cereals or toast - no other choices.
Easy to find, Staff friendly and helpful, room cleaned. On site bar reasonably priced.
Bathroom grouting required a bit a deep clean and smelled a little of damp. Breakfast is maybe a bit on basic side for £3.95 (toast, cereal and coffee)
The room stank of damp really bad. The rooms looked like the hadn't been modernised since the 90's you can get a much higher quality hotel for your money at the premier inn or the quality hotels
*A basic room met our basic needs. *The Curry shop next door with BYO was a boon (but we had not brought our own) *Staff were very friendly *Free breakfast was included *WIFI easy *No hassle *No noise (but this may be more our good luck on the night)
*Cold! *Very thin quilts with no extra bedding
It had every thing I needed. Clean, warm, dry and reasonable price.
Family room too small... Sofa bed was stained.... Room too hot.... No where to eat!!
Huge family room, great breakfast ,
Smell as you entered reception
Good price Easy parking Easy to get to Breakfast included at the weekend
Telly didn't work - someone had tried to re-tune it to Polish (despite the notice saying "please don't try to re-tune the television). No-one working there knew how to re-tune it so we were without telly for 3 days.
staff very helpful and friendly rooms very clean and tidy
motorway very close close windows for sound sleep
