Friendly staff. The location - it's advertised as being in Huntingdon but it's a long long way out of town on a lonely road. Nothing around it except a gas station and Indian buffet eatery. The noise - as it's very close to a major uk highway, there's constant noise from the traffic. Windows aren't sound-proofed. If you must stay here, ask for a room on the front side of the building.

The location was great because it is one of the very few located near Sawtry. The staff was excellent and very helpful. The only thing we didn't care for was the bed and pillows. The bed was very hard and you needed at least three pillows to make it comfortable. Anything other than the bed and I would recommend Redwings lodge for a quick stay.

Friendly staff .Although no provision for food at the hotel other than Bfast The receptionist gave plenty of places to eat out or get delivered to your room.Spiceland indian restaurant is next door. Good food and relatively in expensive. Chris the receptionist that night even supplied myself with a plate and cutlery. Will definately use again.

As a solo female, I felt secure and welcome at Redwings Lodge. My room was not the most stylish but it was spotlessly clean, comfortable and had everything I needed for an overnight business stay. It is well placed for visits to Huntingdon and Cambridge and as it's less than half the price of many branded business hotels in the locality, I would certainly use Redwings Lodge again.

The hotel was spotless, rooms lovely and cosy with as much tea/coffee and biscuits you wanted. The staff were really lovely and couldnt do enough for us. There was a bar/dining room. You could eat takeaways there as there is an indian next door or go to the village of sawtry which is over the bridge. It was very quiet in the night even though it was near the a1 and there is a garage next door.

Soap in bathroom was old, looked like someone else had used it. Windows could not look out of because of condensation. The noise of the moterway kept us awake all night. Kids programme on tv loud on Sunday morning, if anything should have been bbc news programme, no thought was used Also feel as it needs to close and have a make over like yesterday

My family and I received a really nice warm friendly welcome from the lady on reception. Very clean room, the bathroom-shower was spotless. Bedding was very clean and fresh, the bed was really comfortable. A little bit of road noise from the A1 but that is expected due to location. Ample Tea -Coffee- Milk in the room The continental breakfast was nice, with fresh milk and orange juice which was just right, thank you One point to note please. Can you obtain some thicker pillows as the one's we had were vey flat, apart from that a very nice Hotel In all, a very nice warm relaxing hotel which we will use the future on a monthly basis. Nothing we didn't like about Redwings Lodge.

The location and cost were good and the staff helpful and friendly. The rrom was well appointed and functional. Noise from the a1m was an issue, it was a hot and humid night so the windows had to be kept open, airconditioning would be a real bonus and I would be happy to pay a little more for this facility. As with most hotels the pillows were of poor quality and realy should to be replaced.

“The Bull was amazing, the staff were very friendly and very helpful, the food was outstanding and they deserve their rosette. Excellent location. My only criticism was that the bed was very soft and for me personally uncomfortable, but the room was great. keep up the excellent standards, we will be back.” Tracy, Eastbourne |
