Breakfast was lovely
Extremely friendly owners. Couldn't do enough for you. Nice breakfast served.
Room was a little small for 4 of us, but we were only there one night so not a problem
All of the staff were very friendly, the cooked breakfast was lovely. Very welcoming bed and breakfast and lovely and warm.
Had a bit of trouble getting the correct temperature in the shower. Pillows could have been better.
Right from our first contact with the owners, we found them to be extremely friendly and polite. We even got given a room with a great view of the White Horse on the hill. The breakfast was lovely and we always had the feeling there wasn't anything they couldn't do for us :) Good location, not far at all from Longleat or the nearby cinema. If we go to Warminster again, we know where we'll stay!
All good, no problems at all.
The friendliness of all concerned and the excellent breakfast - a great place to stay and I'll be very happy to come again.
The owner Sandy was lovely. I had a great bedroom with en-suite and the breakfast was fantastic. Hopefully be back again!
Great and very helpful staff. Happy to accommodate and very clean and tidy premises and rooms. Beautiful breakfast and very filling.
Breakfast service was lacklustre. Took over 30 Mins for someone to take an order. Although once the order was taken food delivered quickly and was fantastic.
The owners were really friendly Lovely home made English fry up! Card payment option!
everything , the staff were friendly and welcoming , the breakfast was excellent , definitely recommend this place
Very welcomming, open house approach, rooms really clean, dust free, with some nice touches.
Had to wait at front door for entry. (but could have gone through the back door, if we had known), poor lighting at rear of property may have contributed.
the happy welcoming owners and staff . cleanliness, over all a great place to stay .
The owners were so lovely - warm and friendly and went out of their way to make sure you were happy and comfortable. Very clean and comfortable - all amenities provided and v good wifi.
I was looking for a nice run B&B and I found exactly what I was looking for . The room was lovely and we were made to feel very welcome . Breakfast was lovely and nothing was too much trouble would def stay there again as it was very near to my cousins and suited our needs.
The fact that if we had phoned direct we would have saved £20 ! This is no reflection on the proprietors but because I had booked with booking .com there was an extra charge .
The owners were very helpful and went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. Would stay there again if we were in the area.
There could have been a little more choice for breakfast.
Warm welcome if a little over the top .
Bed was uncomfortable and shiny sheets and pillow cases made for slidy night! Bit noisy elsewhere in the house. Breakfast staff a bit lacking in care and small noisy child in tow was very odd. However good value and good food.
We were made most welcome. Good facilities, very clean, lovely decor. So handy for our visit just 10-15 mins from Trowbridge and 5 minutes from Westbury by car. Parking on site. The full English breakfast was fantastic. The staff could not do enough to help, even helping curl my hair for the wedding we were attending. Views from there are fabulous and if it's nice weather you can sit out from the large conservatory on the seating outside.
It was all good. No complaints whatsoever. Would definitely stay here again.
Tammy was looking after the b&b for her mum (who was away on holiday) and she could not have been lovelier or more helpful. We were not sure at first about the location, but found out the twin station was at the end of the street and only 15 mins from the centre of bath. Perfect! Rooms were lovely and the beds the most comfy we have had in a month of travelling. If you love a chat and a relaxed homey atmosphere, we would highly recommend it!
We could not face getting in the car again after arriving to go to the pub tammy suggested, so we went the other way and followed the signs to the train station and centre of town. A 20-30min walk, but found some great historical stuff and a few pubs to choose from for dinner. Bit of a trek back though, but good exercise!
Made most welcome and the breakfasts were great! Sent email the day before about room and got an immediate phone call and room change that was better for my wife (No Stairs)
Certainly not a complaint but would have liked a small shelf for wash gear etc and towel rail.
Hosts were excellent as was the hospitality, hotel and the room. The full English breakfast was SUPERB!!! Definitely the place to choose FIRST on future visits to Westbury and the surrounding area.
The greeting I received upon my arrival was genuinely friendly and I was made to feel extremely welcome. My stay was literally just overnight but I would imagine that this would be a very good location for sightseers. Lovely breakfast and very nice coffee!
Really warm welcome Good recommendations on where to eat and local knowledge Superb breakfast Comfy bed Good sized ensuite
The breakfast was spot on, quality all the way.
Room decor was like a room you would associate with a lady of purchasable affection. The cleanliness was poor a lack of attention to detail, on pulling back the sheet there was a stain that I thought was blood and a dead earwig. They moved our room and then knocked our door later to tell us it was not blood just a stain, I thought that was unprofessional. The bed had more noises than previously mentioned lady and more creaks than an arthritic ex rugby player.
Great economical B&B close to Bath. The room was very clean and charming! The hostess was very welcoming and made us feel so comfortable during our stay. She gave us great info on visiting the surrounding area. She told us about a town called Lacock which turned out to be a beautiful place to see. We hadn't heard of it, but it is a very old authentic English village where they have filmed many famous movies, Harry Potter, for one. We loved our stay and would highly recommend it. The full English breakfast was awesome as well. She makes sure you don't leave the house the least bit hungry! She couldn't have been more gracious!
The ONLY dislike I had was that our room faced a busy road, so with the windows open for fresh air, it was a bit noisy. HOWEVER, traffic died down in the evening, so sleeping was not a problem.
