Stafff where very freindly and helpfulroom was good Not enough towels in room - had only one bath towel for a double room. Breakfast was greasy - reception area and lounge where not decorated very well for a reasonably expensive hotel - £165 per night with no breakfast - I was expecting better

We thoroughly enjoyed our one night stay. Our room was spacious and very comfortable. The size of the bathroom was a unexpected and appreciated the full sized bath. Our restaurant meal was delicious and breakfast the next morning everything we could want. Service was friendly and efficient.

Comfy bed and good location for touring. Restaurant food expensive and not up to standard. Menus change only weekly so for variety we ate at local pub. For "Spa Hotel" read busy health club attached full of local members.

This hotel is set in a beautiful country location, but is only a couple of miles from the shopping centre and night-life. Wonderful, helpful, knowledgeable, friendly staff, who genuinely seem happy to help and interact with the guests are on hand 24/7. Spa, hotel, rooms and fitness facilities are well-kept and clean. And the restaurant has great food. The buffet breakfasts are incredible!

We attended a wedding and the hall was excellent with good food and pleasant staff The room we were in 329 was dirty- toilet unclean and generally unclean throughout. Our basin was cracked and the room needed a good deep clean, I was far from impressed. At breakfast I had to chase up on my coffee order havin waited 15 mins for it and then there was no milk with it so again I had to chase this up. I don't expect 5 star but I do expect a clean room and for that reson I would not recommend or return.

Friendly and efficient staff, good Spa facilities, and good standard of accomodation. But,having stayed there before I think better value for money would be to opt for a Standard Room as opposed to the Deluxe Room.

Staff very helpful and couldn't do enought to make the stay brilliant! Friendly staff make a good visit! Swimming pool is a bit small, but if you get there at 7 when it opens then it's no problem.

Location We were very disappointed with the quality of our evening meal. Both of our steaks were raw and were returned to the kitchen. My husbands was still raw when it came back. No what you expect as part of a romantic break to celebrate my birthday. My husband spent most of the evening being sick.... So it was not a relaxing break as we had hardly any sleep.A Complete waste of us upgrading to a deluxe room. We spoke to the duty manager the following morning who said she would fill in a form to report it but to be honest we felt like she was just giving us lip service. We regularly take weekend trips away throughout the year and were most disappointed by this one.

very nice hotel, room was excellent but little more attention to cleanliness, dead insects on roof, pubic hairs all over floor and rear of bathroom door has not being cleaned in ages as there is massive build up of dead skin cells. I know everythng cannot be perfect but i will come back again. thankyou

Staff attitude, politeness and general customer service. Bed's were comfortable (loved the king size). Facilities were good, restaurant food was lovely (wine a bit pricey). Relaxed atmosphere. Outdoor play was used even in Oct. We booked a family room and whilst the room had a king size & single bed, there were only cups, glasses and refreshments for two people. However as soon as we asked we were given more. Right next the the TV was the adult channel menu - this is not appropriate to have advertised in a family room.

Very friendly. The breakfast was very nice. The rooms were comfortable and spacious. Quite 'Grand'. The hotel had a slight air of faded glory, but in a way that was fine! Could do with some further refurbishment soonish though (the leisure centre changing rooms should be a priority as they were a bit cramped).

Very friendly reception staff and evening waiting staff Breakfast was a nightmare! The hotel was busy due to a couple of weddings the night before, so breakfast was busy and there just weren't enough staff to cope. I had to chase our tea and coffe twice! The first time I got rudely cut off by a member of the waiting staff and when I chased it the second time by the time it arrived we were ready to leave!

Having enjoyed an excellent dinner the breakfast was a big disappointment having a limited and poor selection on the hot buffet and cheap catering sausages and rock hard fried eggs, there was no Porridge, Black Pudding, Potato Cakes, Haggis or Hash Browns.
