Welcomed into Fiona's truly beautiful home, cup of tea home made mince pies in front of log fire. Every inch of this b&b is high end and finished to exceptional levels. Food all locally sourced. Nothing too much trouble for Fiona. Really couldn't fault it and have book again, just because we loved it.
The owner welcomed us into her beautiful home with hot mince pies and excellent coffee. everywhere was immaculate and the bed amazingly comfortable. We really didn't want to go home.
Very Friendly, we were made to feel welcome, so was our little dog, Breakfast was very good, lovely room with walk in shower, Excellent
Loved the welcome by Fiona with tea/coffee and mince pies, a nice thought. She then sat and chatted with the six of us and even telephoned the Golden Lion for our dinner reservation, which was a great place to eat. I loved the decor especially in the bedrooms, all very tasteful(we had Chamomile room overlooking the garden) the bathrooms were excellent, very modern. Breakfast was very good, we could have anything we wanted, nothing was too much trouble. We stayed at Reeds Barn because it was a short drive to the Thursford Christmas show. We'll definitely visit again next summer for a bit longer so we can hopefully enjoy the swimming pool, sauna and gardens. Would definitely recommend.
I booked Reeds Barn as it was in a short driving distance from Thursford Christmas Spectacular. From the moment we arrived and were greeted by Fiona the owner we were made very welcome. Bedroom and bathroom exceptional in equipment and furnishings. Breakfast in the morning was all freshly prepared and cooked and pride taken in using local produce.
Great Property. We found that the warmth of the greeting that met our arrival was matched by the warmth, in many, many guises, throughout our stay. Comfortable, well appointed rooms offered all the comforts of home. Breakfast was individually catered for and was excellent. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this establishment
Nothing to dislike.
Reeds Barn was well located to explore the North Norfolk coast and the accommodation, facilities and breakfast were all excellent Fiona was a perfect host and nothing was too much trouble The Black Lion in the village provided a good selection of evening meals in a very comfortable pub setting
The very warm welcome from the owner, a most impressive barn conversion, very comfortable including a sauna and swimming pool and a superb breakfast. Could not be faulted.
Excellent would highly recommend it. :)
Very welcoming and very comfortable, will definitely return
Only comment would be to put a plug socket near the mirror so u can see what you are doing when drying your hair.
Lovely décor, large bedrooms, comfort of beds, coffee machine in room, lovely breakfasts
No mirror adjacent power point for hair dryer. Bathroom lighting in Orchid very poor, some lights out. No biscuits with tea/coffee facilities. No tissues in room Very hard to find Reeds Barn in dark. Needs much better lighting over name on wall or bigger notice.
The accommodation was excellent. The staff (Lorraine and Annie) were very professional, friendly and considerate. Overall, excellent. We will return.
every thing there was nothing you could fault
there was nothing not to like.
Just about everything, Fiona was away and left Lorraine in charge, and what a fine job she did. Can't think of anyway it could be improved, will certainly go again.
Location fab and luxurious modern accommodation.
Everything about Reeds Barn was perfect. We were made most welcome by Fiona who did everything to make our stay enjoyable. We would love to stay there again.
The facilities, the welcome and service. Nothing was too much trouble and it was impossible to find any fault.
We were very impressed by the high standards at Reeds barn.Fiona welcomed us with coffee and cake and was able to inform us of local eating places . She even booked for us so that we were not disappointed . The room was lovely , decorated to a high standard , and very clean and comfortable, as was the whole house . The breakfasts were wonderful , with a good choice , and homemade bread too. It's a great location for touring , and there's a lot of things of historical interest in the local village . Can't wait to return , highly recommended!
Every thing was great but in particular was that we felt genuinely welcome and every effort was made to make our stay a pleasurable one.
Our arrival couldn't have been more welcoming by Fiona, who showed us around Reeds Barn. This property is tastefully decorated in a contemporary style. Our room was large and very comfortable with a fresh jug of milk for tea and coffee. The breakfast in the morning was superb with excellent choices, as well as home cooked bread and croissants thrown in. Will definitely be going back.
Wonderful building and decor. Staff were great. Lorraine was so warm. The breakfast was superb, probably one of the best ever!
No mirror in bedroom! The only option was to plug in hairdryer and try to drag it close to the bathroom mirror. Not safe! No full length mirror anywhere. Suprised that we couldn't pay with a debit card. Cash or cheque only. Really didn't see tho on the website. Dont carry a cheque book and no cash machine for miles!
We had a lovely stay at Reeds Barn. The house itself is delightful as are the staff. Our room was very comfortable and we loved the fact we had our own coffee machine! Breakfast was delicious with lots of home-made produce. Great place to stay and highly recommend it.
There is very little to add to what has already been said, other than to say that in the winter the guest's sitting room must be lovely with an open fire roaring away. The warm welcome we received from Lorraine after driving through rain and floods was much appreciated and particularly her understanding the following day when we had to cut short our stay due to ill health. Thank you so much Lorraine, for your sympathy in a difficult situation. I just hope we will be able to return again one day.
