This is certainly not a three stars hotel. The single rooms are a little bigger than the single bed, it is even difficult to go in the bathroom, because you can hardly open the door. I felt like in a prison (luckily there was at least there was a window (and I had to leave it open, because of the bad smell coming from the bathroom). The room was also dirty (I have pictures of it). Frankly I find unbelievable that Bookings sells this stuff. I never had a similar experience with any other website and I will never use bookings.com again.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast staff, though very busy, always coped with demands very well. The food was good and plentiful. The left hand curtain in our bedroom was half hanging off the rail. The room was very cramped (a double bed in a single sized room). There were no drawers.

The staff was pleasant. The room and bathroom were very clean as were the bed linen and towels. And there was abundant hot water. The hotel was very quiet both from outside, even though the room was over the street, and from inside, although I was next to the lift it was so quiet that contrary to my expectations it posed no problem. There was free wifi which was reliable except for a brief period at peak in the evening. On the first morning that I was there a very large flat screen TV was installed to replace an ancient one.I had not complained about the barely functioning, very small one,as I am not a TV person but I did enjoy the ample array of channels available. All in all a good restful experience if you are not looking for luxury . The only negative observation that I have to make is that though a double room it is suitable only for a single and had been usually been so,This was evidenced by the fact that on the left side of the bed the springs were gone and uncomfortable.Sleeping on the far side became a necessity. Otherwise although I would not stay at a three star hotel as London was busy I went ther and was pleasantly surprised.

Good location (very smart area), polite staff, decent sized room and comfortable. And it wasn't too expensive for good hotel close to te city centre. Literally, the only thing I would say was poor was the television in the room, and that's only because I was desperate to watch the f1 while I was on my trip to London! Wouldn't normally complain about the tv, but in this case it was pretty bad - a tiny boxy thing from the 90s, it seemed!

Location in London and the helpfulness of the staff in arranging travel to the airport and around the area. It didn't have the atmosphere I was expecting. It felt more like a boarding house than like a hotel that I would stay at to relax and get away.

The location was optimum, just minutes from two underground stations, bayswater & Queensway. The are also has a lot of restaurants, supper markets and shops, in addition to a shopping mall. The breakfast contained many choices, such as bakery products, eggs and corn flakes. Room was clean, making maximum use of the space. My room was in the basement, which was unsatisfactory, specially that my window view was a service area where the staff was using very early in the morning, making noise. It was the only room in this area, so I think it was as a storage or services room, but not for a guest who is paying almost £54/night. Finally, the room was very small. If I was informed about the location of my room, I would have never completed my reservation, but I paid through the credit card, arrived late in the afternoon and it was the last single vacant room in the hotel.

Great location and reasonable price. Room was clean and staff always friendly. Like a lot of London hotels the room was small and even though we turned off the heating and opened the window it was still too warm.

Excellent location, close to Bayswater and Queensway stations. Shops, restaurants and other amenities all near by. Comfortable and clean. The room could have been just a little wider as itgot a bit cramped with three people trying to move around.

Hotel was in an excellent location for transport and within easy walking distance of many shops and restuarants.Although a busy area there was no noise around the hotel. The continental breakfast was good, the breakfast room was very pleasant as were the staff. The rooms were clean and tidy. An average hotel but not worth the £800 for 3 nights that was the first price on the internet reduced to £220 ?

Location, there were no obvious infestations of bugs...and nothing more. Shame on you for using them. Everything. Basement room, immediately outside the cafeteria...with the hall light shining into the tiny room, noisey staff, the bathroom was appropriate for anorexics only, and all for a ridiculously price

Location was good and quiet, however the closest metro lines are usually closed for weekends. Overall it was acceptable for the money we paid. Rooms are not high-end, especially the bathroom. Door of the bathroom couldn't be closed easily and once it closed you almost had to break it to open. Staff was bored at the reception.
