Score from 3112 reviews Very good
Our family consists of my partner and I and our 4 kids (16 year old, 3.5 year old and twin 17 month olds) and the room we stayed in was spacious, convenient as we didn't have to go up or down lifts as we stayed on the ground floor which was a great considering we had 4 large suitcases also. The room felt very new and relaxing, it felt like we were in a 5 star hotel. Location - absolutely perfect again. To the left was a 2-3 min walk to Baker Street underground which is three stops away from Piccadilly Circus, couldn't get better than that! To the right were streets filled with shops including supermarkets, pharmacy, eateries, everything you would need. The service was great and with a 24 hour desk service, we could go and come as we pleased. Highly recommend!
I chose this hotel as I was travelling solo and wanted an area where I could feel safe walking from the underground during the day and importantly at night when returning from the theatre. The location was perfect for this requirement. It is only a five minute walk from Baker Street underground and a short walk to excellent eateries in the opposite direction. The street is quiet and I had a good nights sleep every night for the six nights I stayed. The room was described as a small double which had a double bed up against the wall. I would not have liked to share it as I found it a tight sqeeze with only me using the room. The room was very clean and had two small windows which provided good light and could be opened for ventilation. The breakfast was very limited in selection. The same every day which was boring when staying six nights, but the staff were friendly and the service was good. The room had a small fridge which I found an asset for snacks etc. I found the free wifi excellent at all times of the day and night. The room also had a safe, again I found this useful. Overall the location and hotel was good and suited my needs and I would consider staying again.
The hair dyer was secured in a draw and was difficult to use. Only a satchet combined hair shampoo and conditioner provided. The hotel reception and room had no pamphlets on tours or places to see. I even had to ask for a map of London. Some pamphlets were provided, when I asked, but they were not for my interests.
Sound preventing doesn't fair enough .
Very clean, simple breakfast but enough to set you up for the day.
Clean, Comfortable Bed
Staying in cellar, Noise from the above street resulting restless night :(
Breakfast takes very long - service is very, very slow.
Good location and value
No bacon for breakfast
High standard furnishings in room with good wifi and a cooked breakfast included
Cooked breakfast did not include bacon or sausage
very clean, modern bathroom, WLan, not noisy, nice breakfast
Clean and convinient
A few blocks from Baker Street Underground. 3 to 4 tube stops to the main sights. Late night after hours bus stop. Hot Breakfast, Clean Sheets, excellent staff. Fish & Chips, Pub, Beatlemania Shop, Sherlock Holmes Museum, Regent Park all with in a 7 min walk.
There is nothing I disliked, London rooms often tiny so no shock here. The corner shower is 1/4 the size of a standard shower. May be uncomfortable for the larger traveller. It was fine for me at 5'6 160lbs. The Excellent Staff are a welcome treat!!!
We got a triple room when booked a double, meaning more space for us and they included the breakfast for free. The room had all we needed, plenty of closet space, the bathroom facilitis all brand new and excellent.
Breakfast very basic and minimal- eggs, cornflakes, bread and drink- but we got it for free so no complaints here.
Nothing - one of my worst hotel experiences. Should be half the price.
I do not recommend this hotel. The room in which I stayed was extremely noisy, being affected by (i) the noise of cars going up and down a very busy street; and (ii) the noise of other guests walking around in their rooms, performing ablutions, going to the bathroom &c - you can hear it all. If this wasn't enough to prevent a good night's sleep, the lumpy bed with broken springs was the icing on the cake. The water in the shower was one temperature: scalding. If could not be adjusted. By contrast, the heat of the iron (when it eventually arrived) was one temperature: cold. Do not expect to be able to iron a shirt. Breakfast consisted of packets of kelloggs cereal (eg rice bubbles) with the option of caged eggs served as you like them with Heinz baked beans. There was also a bowl of SPC canned fruit if that's to your liking. To top it off, the wi-fi failed to work consistently. Significantly over-priced for what is offered.
Not a good choice for breakfast. Being a coeliac options were very limited.
Location, bed, breakfast.
Shower (in very small bathtube), little expensive, fact that you could use wifi on just one device.
Very convenient location close to underground station . 5-7 minutes walk to Oxford street and to the Regent Park. Friendly staff. Daily room cleaning. Soundproofing.
The same breakfast menu day by day . You cannot change it. Too small room.
Initially when I booked its said I can cancel but later when the confirmation was sent it said I can not cancel ! The staff said its the booking website fault ! Also I booked with breakfast but I was surprised that it was not included , however the manager included breakfast on the house
Nice and very clean room with good facilities. Good location. Very good staff.
Room a bit small for 3 people Breakfast cooked and not a buffet
Location and neighborhood. Helpful staff. Rooms clean and comfortable. This is not a "luxury" hotel, but unbeatable for the value. Regency Parkside is my home base for all my London travels now.
Friendly, clean, comfortable. Great location. Good breakfast.
I couldn't log on to the wifi with the codes provided but I'm sure the staff would have sorted this out. There was 4G reception so it wasn't important.
This hotel is in a fantastic location near Marylebone high street and a 5 min walk to Baker Street station. The rooms were small but good value for London. Very clean and modern with nice bathroom and comfortable beds. We stayed one night and would happily stay again.
We were in a basement room and could hear trains or the underground for a while before we went to sleep.
Regency PARKSIDE is a small hotel in a very pleasant area. We felt at home right from the start and enjoyed the fact that the hotel was well located - a short walk to the open top bus and to shopping and eating. We accidentally left some clothing behind and it was cared for us till we returned to London. Would definitely recommend.
Everything but the food
Breakfast was barely eat ingle
The hotel was new and clean and only a 15 minute walk to Oxford Street. The reception staff were pleasant.
The breakfast was a bit basic but mainly adequate. At the weekend there wasn't any yoghurt but it did show on the menu. The waiting staff were efficient but not overly friendly.
Location and value for money are the best attractions for this hotel. Not a fancy pretentious place, but clean and comfortable. Rahesh at the desk remembers me and my preferences and welcomes me back each time.
