I could write a book of complaints 1 room was not serviced for my 2nd night. 2 light in bathroom was not replaced as requested.3 T V did not have the basic bbc1 and bbc 2.3 sat night in restaurant was adisaster from the start no bar staff on duty having to wait ages for a drink. no wine menu a poor chose of main corses 4breakfast sunday had to clear my own table and lay it up.no jams , had tomake do with somebodies half left over, no bacon no toast every body complaining the worst hotel Ive stayed at for as long as I can remember.I must admit I go away quite a lot and usually stay at 4 or 5 star hotels Your hotal ! would call a 1 star if that.

Tea and coffee only available in room on first night. Nothing was replaced for all of my stay. Bath towels not replaced after use, nowhere to dry them. Service at breakfast very poor. I would not stay in that hotel again.

The hotel was ok. Clean bed linen. Room was sea view. The room wasn't worth what i paid for it. Breakfast was excellent tho.

Part of the room was shabby. Bathroon door wouldn't close properly. Hotel was too far along the front.

Great value for money , if you are polite to the manager you receive the same back :) .found it to be very friendly and comfortable , will definitely go back

The location ONLY!!

The reception area, the lift (very scarey!), the decor (very dated), the rickerty landing. On entering the room (room No. 303) it was extremely 'pokey'. The entrance to the room was very tight. The bathroom was 1960s i.e. very old bath with a basic showerhead but no shower curtain or screen. There was no mirror in there. Also it had an dated toilet i.e. it had a black toilet seat. Anyone over a certain size would not have been able to sit on the toilet because of the close proximity of the bath and the almost industrial toilet roll dispenser. The carpet was threadbare. You could hardly move in the bathroom. The basin was in the bedroom rather than in the bathroom! Which is nothing like the photos on their website. Very old/worn furniture. Only enough room for one overnight bag on the floor. Couldn't get the window open which was a concern if there was a fire! We were charged £120 for one night this, we felt on seeing the room and the facilities, was a majorly inflated charge. Breakfast was mayhem i.e. they had not cleared the tables so we had to move the dirty dishes off one table onto another. They ran out of butter (and mushrooms). We had to find our own cereal bowls. We were told we could only have one slice of bacon, one sausage, a spoonful of beans and one rather dried fried egg! Sitting down to eat the breakfast we found it to be cold! Everyone we saw had a problem with finding a clean table. Tea and toast were sparce. Everyone we saw that morning was not happy and had a complaint about one or all of these things. We made a complaint to the Assistant Manageress who wrote our complaint down and our mobile telephone number advising us that the Manager would ring us on Tuesday (7.5.13) as he was too busy over the Bank Holiday weekend! That phone call has not been received. We feel that £40.00 would have been too much to pay to stay at this hotel. Needless to say we will not be going back there!

not much. Nice lounge etc with good decoration and good bar and drinks. Pleasant and friendly proprieter.

TV in room didnt work. Some staff didnt speak English. Breakfast was awful and stone cold. Very expensive for standard of room etc. Understaffed/ too many guests to staff ratio.

I wouldn't wish my stay upon my worst enemy. It was horrible. I highly recommended people to avoid this hotel (I wish I read reviews and stayed away) Firstly, you walk into a modern decorated hall way for reception, greeted by a man who can't speak very good English and took a while to attend to us. I booked a double room for mine and my partners anniversary. We ended up in a family room. We dumped our bags in the damp, old smelling, and quite frankly dire room and went out. When we returned we whacked the heater on full. The shower wasn't hot at all. The bathroom wasn't cleaned to a good standard at all. The bed sheets were turned inside out as opposed to washed. The room was beyond cold!! We had no number for reception on the hotel phone (which we then found out wasn't even working) So we called the hotel off our mobile numerous times- no answer. I heard a man outside shout room service so I ran to the door and asked him for more heaters or something. All our clothes that were out were damp with coldness. We couldn't even watch tele, it was a really old tele with a free view box and it was just fuzzy and dire. The man never returned with a heater. We rang reception again, they finally answered then a man came to the room with a small poxy old heater (he could hardly understand English) He then decided to shout at me for putting my vest on the heater to warm up. Quite frankly, his attitude wasn't appreciated as our trip was already ruined. I went to reception to confront the man. The bell on the reception is pointless so don't bother ringing you, they don't acknowledge you are there- they'd rather sit in the 'restaurant' and ignore you. Finally I was greeted by an arsey man.

Have to say overall I was disappointed. It appeared that we were the only guests in the hotel which felt awkward. Staff were friendly and the breakfast was good.

It was quite far from the other hotels in the town. It felt awkward being the only guests. The room was adequate but by today's standards it was poor. The ensuite was of poor quality and the television reception was poor.

The owners made us feel very welcome. The hotel was ideally located for the Venue Cymru where we were going at night.

We were the only guests in the hotel so at times it felt a little awkward. The cost of the accommodation was expensive for the standard and what we got.

Absolutely nothing..in saying that, what we did see of the staff were fairly pleasant the view was great through the filthy windows

Bathroom filthy, mirrors and windows filthy, toilet brush TOXIC,black slime in every groove of the shower cubicle, nothing remotely like the photo's on the net would say not even the same hotel, the smell was damp or unused like a hotel that had been closed for the winter and not aired, the indian restaurant was closed (not informed untill sat at the table) and offered cornish pasty and tomato soup instead, no wine list as prommised, had to ask for the bar to be opened at 7.30 pm, towell rail hanging off the wall, tiles missing, and finally I think if we had realized that the hotel doubled as a Mosque I think we would have still booked although been better prepared. We only had to walk 1/2 block to realize just how much we'd been mugged

The staff and owner can not be praised enough, they were all fantastic, friendly, warm, and very welcoming, We even received a call from the owner to see if we were ok'' as we arrived a little late which we thought was so kind of him, rooms were vert comfortable and the food was fantastic! Will definitely be staying again and look forward to the new cocktail bar opening.

I like the location was amassing

But the room and the bathroom was do bad and disgusting also when I enter the hotel there was bad smell stinke in reception, in addition the boiler in the room was old and wasn't working . In general it was so bad and hurabel night in this hotel so my wife agree with me . I forget the lift it wasn't fit my child pouch chear it fit only 2 person and the should have new one is much better for them and the gust . I will never go back to this hotel again

Room not big enoungh to swing a cat and a very small cat at that , not spacious as website says. Bathroom and bedroom could do with better cleaning. Breakfast not upto much . Smell of indian food everywhere .

On arrival staff were very friendly and i was escorted to my room by a member of staff who kindly carried my suitcase. Room was excellent with sea view, TV with freeview channels and of course what i really like is being able to make a cup of tea in my room.

The table cloth in the dinning room serving area where the tea/coffee/toast/dishes/breakfast area etc, was absolutely filthy, unbelievably filthy. Bedroom was cramped with one single bed, one double bed, plus bunk beds. With no space around beds we booked a dormitory room for three adults two children, which we did not get. Tv not working, toilet not working properly. All in all would not go again. Therefore there was nothing we liked about the hotel

The Regency Royal Hotel in Llandudno, probably the grottiest, dirtiest kip I have ever had the displeasure to pay good money to stay in. 1. On arrival the room was already given to 'one of our party'. Considering myself the the wife and 3 kids were all in the same car it was highly unlikely. After a pause, I presume expecting us to leave it was sorted, I now wish it wasn't. 2. The lift is bloody dangerous (when it works). Its an old style lift with only a concertina mesh guarding the occupants from the walls, doors, nails and loose electrically cables flashing past and whats the first thing a 4 or 7 year old boy will try to do? It was nearly bye bye fingers! 3. On arrival to the room I can at least complement the hotel on crisp clean sheets on the beds however this was somewhat missed due to the following: i. 5 beds, 2 towels? Do children not wash in North Wales? From the conversations downstairs we weren't the only ones with this problem. ii. While moving the dirty rag I presume was a curtain to see if I could stop the gale blowing in through the window I found rubbish left behind by the last customers! iii. Rubbish wasn't all that was left behind as the staff hadn't bother to wash the last occupants pubic hairs out of the bath / shower. iv. The shower / bath, the side of which was falling off, also had no shower curtain meaning that dirty soapy water fell onto the bathroom floor which for some unknown reason was carpet!!! At least this probably diluted God knows what else was in the carpet around the toilet. 4. At Least we could enjoy breakfast in what appears to be the newly renovated downstairs section of the hotel, what could go wrong. Firstly there was inadequate seating in the breakfast area meaning some people, including ourselves had to move into the very nice restaurant area. Moving into this area we passed tables which still had cutlery lying about and covered in curry stains from the previous nights 'new concept' buffet.

The staff were really friendly and helpful. The dining area was beautiful

The rooms could be bigger to increase the comfort, as a 5 bed room was really small and the toilet need to be improved. The Hotel needs maintaining and refurbishment.

The cleanliness left a lot to be desired I.e dirty table cloths the rooms were not always made up even the long life milk in the tea making facility had gone off as for the breakfast cheap and nasty sausages cold hash browns the tables were poorly laid out but the bacon was ok the staff did not seem to have much idea of how a hotel should be ran

Run down building and rooms. Extremely disorganized staff. Unwelcoming atmosphere. I am not normally picky, at all, and this hotel was really abysmal.

It was a very unpleasant surprise
