Excellent location with connections to tube stations notably Baker Street. Yet, rooms are extremely small like prisons Internet is not reliable, |

Friendly stuff, good location on a quiet street near Baker Street tube station and walking distance to Oxford Steret. And if you like english breakfast it was really good. Water pressure in upper floors could be better. However it was enough to have a shower and you get warm water all the time |

The room was clean and the hotel well located. The English breakfast was O.K. My room was in the basement, so it was very warm and airless and I could not aerate, becasuse something constantly rattled in front of my window. But I think the other rooms (upstairs) can be fine. |

Good location for us (going to Lords) at a reasonable price. Friendly & helpful staff. Comfortable bed & good breakfast (particularly the eggs!) Room small & a little basic. Other than being very warm (no air con) was ok. Shower very weak.Carpet very worn in stair/landing areas.Lift very small, which I found claustrophobic, & slow. |

The location is good. The staff was responsive. The breakfast is a full breakfast (warm breakfast choices). The single room was exceptionally small. I think next time I'd upgrade to have a bit more room to walk around the bed. |

The rooms were very basic, but had everything you need. The rooms were a bit shabby, but the bathroom was spotlessly clean and the bedlinen was nice and crisp and white. We were unlucky to be in london during the tube strike, but the hotel was only a 10 minute walk from Oxford Street. So it wasnt too bad. Overall a good, clean base for visiting London. The breakfast was nice apart from the disgusting sausages. They were as cheap as you could buy, the bacon was lovely though. |

i liked the fact that there was a water heater in the room, with tea bags, coffe and a fridge in the room. That was a big surprise. the bedlinnen smelled realy fresh. iif there were more choices for breakfast i would be a little happier. they only had marmelade to put on the t toast. i missed ham or cheese. My sisters and i will definatly stay there again when we visit England again. |

Great location, very quiet, very pleasant staff. No, I had read on this site about the threadbare carpet on the stairs and that really is the only down side of the place! |

clean room & pleasant, polite staff. Very little noise from the main road. The towels were changed daily yet we were only there for 2 days. Non smoking room but they all are now by law so this is not a citicism of this hotel. |

Friendly, helpful staff. Ironing board and tea tray. No fresh fruit for breakfast. Would have liked choice of tea other than basic tea bag. |

Its proximity to shopping districts and city transport. I booked for 4 persons (me & wife + 4 children age 14, 13, 6, 4) but did not allow us to stay in one room. Have to get extra room for extra price which ruined my budget. They should have been considerate for the 2 small children which could have shared the beds with us. |

The room was clean, the staff was kind and helpful, full English breakfast was included in the price of the room. They stored my luggage in the lobby on the day of my departure (I was a bit nervous about it because it looked unsafe, but eventually it worked out). The single room and the bathroom were *very* small, the one small window had a view on a nearby wall. The furniture and the fitted carpets were a bit worn out. Being located near the entrance of the hotel, my room was also quite noisy in the morning. |

Friendliness of staff and helpfulness. Someone in the room next door was smoking and the smoke permeated underneath the door into my room. |

Perhaps the most central hotel in London, located in the heart of the West End at the foot of Oxford Street with the whole of London on your doorstep. |
With its own restaurant, the Mermaid Suite Hotel is very close to Oxford Street, in the heart of the fashionable West End. |
This partly refurbished Victorian hotel is in central London, 5 minutes’ walk from Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens and Bayswater / Queensway London Underground stations. |
Just 150 metres from Earls Court Tube Station, The Trebovir was fully refurbished in February 2009 and offers air-conditioned en suite rooms with flat-screen TVs at great-value rates. |
