Great location, good breakfast, clean enough and friendly staff
Small room as the majority of the hotel rooms in London :-(
No de-caff tea. Breakfast simple.
Location was excellent, near to transportation, shopping and lots of great restaurants. Room was cleaned daily. Hotel was clean through out. Staff polite and friendly.
Room was on top floor and was very hot at all times, particularly at night. The fan was not adequate to cool the room to enjoy a good night sleep. Breakfast was the same daily, and on 2 occasions, items were not available. No fresh fruit although it was on the menu.
Friendly people and included breakfast.
Fixed shower device.
The room was cosy but very clean and comfortable, the wifi was excellent and the breakfast was to a high standard. Considering the price and location, it is a very good place to stay.
The staff at breakfast are very disorganised- both times I had to find my own seat, find a menu and then corner someone into taking my order. Given the size of the bathroom, the sink should be a lot smaller and the soap dispenser needed cleaning badly.
Quiet place; centrally located. Near tube stations, shops, post office, church; good hearty breakfast; good wifi connection, safe neigborhood, clean place, polite and welcoming staff, ironing facilities.
No aircon but we could open windows. Just didnt feel comfortable about open wondows esp in the evening. However, nothing untoward happened. TV wasnt functiong and could not be fixed at the time.
Great breakfast and staff very helpful. Good value for money
comfortable beds, good location.
We are regular visitors to London but on this occasion we made a very poor choice of Hotel. The room was very small. bathroom needed to have some work carried out on it , Breakfast was so poor that we went round the corner to the Sherlock Hotel on the second morning & paid £35 for 2 of us but it was worth it. The Regency served us 2 coffee's which were cold & when I asked for them to be replaced, I was told they were not cold they were warm so we settled for tea.
Location near regents park was great...a short walk from Baker Street tube station. Breakfast was good. Was unseasonably warm so we appreciated the fan that was included.
The room was comically tiny. I hate to sound like the ugly American, but the room was big enough to contain a double bed with 18" on either side and about 3' on the end. It was like being in a ww2 submarine where only one person could walk thru at once. I would recommend losing the giant armoire which might give a little more space.
Good breakfast. Excellent location
The room was much too small for 4 people. Incredibly hot on the 3rd floor
The room we stayed in was to hot.
Comfortable and clean. Location is very good just a short walk from Oxford street. Would stay again
Room was well laid out ,but was quite small especially the shower/toilet area.
Location Desk staff
A bit cramped
Very helpful staff It was clean Great location
Great location and friendly staff. Breakfast ok.
Very hot in bedrooms no air con. But provided with a free standing fan. Bedrooms small and shower useless, non existant water pressure.
Hotel was ideally located for shopping
Loud people in next door room who kept us awake most of the night . We had to go to hotel next door for breakfast as ours was full . Breakfast quality poor.
Location to Marleybone High Street and Regent's Park was GREAT. Staff very nice, friendly and helpful.
The only thing I didn't care for was that my room was below the ground floor opposite the breakfast room, so although I had a window I wasn't comfortable having the drapes open because the room was exposed to that common area, and therefore it was kind of warm because the drapes blocked the breeze...which was slight in any case due to being below ground level. I would've preferred a room on a higher floor but was only there one night.
Great location, and very good free Wi-Fi, so great for pple who also need to work from the hotel. (Especially when it is not hot in London - see negative comment). Also clean and a reasonable breakfast.
Funny to say it about London, but be careful with this hotel during summer months. No air-conditioning. I spent three nights here during a period which was hot in London standards (25-27 degrees) and the room was too hot with a pathetic ventilator offered by the hotel as "solution".
I was very happy to have a fan, because the bedding was polyester and it was hot!
That neither the bathroom door nor cupboard door could open because the room was too small for the bed. The safe is too small for a laptop. Polyester bedding instead of cotton.
Breakfast was good
room very small, no air con and was a very hot night in basement room with no breeze.
great location with friendly staff and nice breakfast
no air con so rather hot at night
Convenient location Easy access ,ground floor Comfortable bed
Rather small bedroom for cost
Location Cleanliness Breakfast (English style)
Rooms pretty small
Given excellent central location, it was good value for money.
