Very claustrophobic single room, ceilings are high and windows cant be opened! Very noisey fan in toilet which is abit scary when showering. Shower was of good quality and powerful. Bed was ok to sleep in however found a few 'hairs'! Food was abit like making it at home yourself, not of hotel quality and the dishes were not very clean, half of my sauce looked like it had been eaten on my plate too! Location is great! |

Convenience to where I needed to be. Friendly staff. Bed was not comfortable - felt like a hospital bed with a plastic sheet underneath. Towels were small and cheap. |

Helpful and pleasant staff. No frills, just pleasant and comfortable for purpose of stay. Interesting building. Breakfast plentiful and good. Not a dislike, just an observation; bedding was "tired". |

The room was comfortable and spacious. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was good and the waitress was accommodating. The room was far too hot overnight and so we had to open the window even though it was November. The room numbers were not well signposted and the signs on the stairwells were misleading. The bathroom could have done with being modernised. |

It was definitely a local, neighborhood hotel, with great history. You live in their world, experiencing county-side culture, and need to enjoy it for what it is. |

Price was good and the room and bathroom was clean. Shower was excellent. Would have have appreciated more TV chanels than just the basic ones. The internet access for my computer showed little or no signal, so it did not work. |
