Aa comfortable stay close to family. Great breakfast.
Double room was HUGE! Spacious, clean and well laid out. Loved the design of the hotel reception. Easy parking. Quick check in/out. Very pleasant staff all-round.
Would have been nice to have had a stocked mini bar. The lift needs to come in line with the decor of the hotel. Was a bit antiquated.
We liked the spacious rooms .The breakfast was very good.
Everything apart from old bed and sofa so uncomfortable you could not sit on it
old bed and sofa so uncomfortable you could not sit on it
A bit cool in restaurant and in room.
A spacious and comfortable room. Dinner in the restaurant was delicious and the staff were delightful. A great base for a day at the races.
Reception staff, very proficient and helpful. Hotel beautifully clean and minimalistic The rooms were large and airy, King Bed in the deluxe room was really comfortable.Had a reflexology session which was amazing, and so was the therapist. Very Professional Great Stay and we will be back..
Only had the breakfast on one day, Porridge was uncooked, and badly presented no fresh berries to add. Tables not cleared of used plates, and general apathy about the restaurant Plenty of staff available, but remained behind the desk, chatting. Needs organization, Not the first time we noticed this. Shame let the Hotel down.
Clean room, comfy bed. Spa facilities good but bit of a mission to trek right through reception and two function rooms to get there.
Not a great welcome on arrival. Restaurant not great food, neither was the service. Had to ask for a spoon for my soup and was told to use the one on the table - the dessert one. 4*? Breakfast the first morning we'd finished breakfast by the time the toast arrived so we were prepared with new tactics by day 2!
Spacious room. Access to a fair sized swimming pool. Good food.
There were some staffing problems cause by Christmas holidays. However, the small team remaining made an extra effort,
The 'Disabled room' far too far from the lift. We had requested a room near the entrance, we did not ask for a specially adapted room. This hotel does not accept tokens for national newspapers. This is a first for us, we use these in many hotels. Staff somewhat "sniffy" when we complained over the shortcomings above. Last time we stay there
Spa facilities are great.. Friendly and helpful bar staff Will be coming back next year
Not much choice of food in restaurant
booked in early ,like a few others staff helpful, cheery, polite even if taken by surprise .breakfast good, staff friendly, booking out a very rude guest in front of me the receptionist dealt with it very well.a very pleasant stay and will use the hotel again and again. well done the team a very good job done.
Great staff nice quiet location.
The Regency park Hotel was impressive, larger than i expected. As a group of four people having a lazy weekend, it was perfect even though there was a large Christmas party, they catered very well for the "other guests". We dined in and the food was excellent. Bed was really comfortable and we slept well. Overall very good experience and will be returning in the Spring.
Only one small issue, the bar staff were very, very slow. The bar was very busy with the Christmas guests.
clean room good size tea and coffee in room tv in room good shower
very bad breakfast and have made a complaint, still no reply from the hotel. no cups, no milk, no toast, no butter and food out of date.
The new shoe and mending kits are a very good idea, Cleanliness and staff are always excellent.
The room service menu never changes and as I stay here every couple of months, it can get a bit monotonous.
Ideal location for our visit to Highclere castle. Lovely large bedrooms. Nice decor and relaxed atmosphere with friendly efficient staff.
The drinks from the bar were expensive.
I was put in an executive room without being told and charged an £8 per night. They would not accept my challenge. Rooms had drain smells.
Spa and pool . Excellent dinner. Very convenient location on town edge
Breakfast service needs organising. No-one appears to be in charge, so when several people arrived simultaneously at 9 am(as guests do!)the system collapsed with no cleared tables, then no plates, then no hot food. The service was understaffed and badly managed.
The pool, comfy room and excellent restaurant food.
Rooms were very big and I felt very good value for money. The hotel is well located and has a lot of things there like the Spa
Poor bar staff let down the hotel in terms of rudeness. We were there as part of a wedding party and the Beer pumps weren`t clean. Upon politely asking to swap for a bottle, the manager moaned and said nothing wrong with the Beer, dispite many others also noticing it.
The feeling of quality; the spa; the room was warm, comfortable and spacious. The helpful staff. The cooked breakfast.
Breakfast items which were on the menu were missing - no prunes or muesli items - and the fruit salad was nearly all cut up apple floating in juice. It just seemed as though they were cutting corners which was a shame as everything else was so nice.
The secluded and quietness of the area. And the very helpful staff.
No slippers or dressing gown.
Staff very helpful. Offered breakfast in the room at no extra charge due to expectation of restaurant being extremely busy.
