I liked its character, a place where the Beatles stayed and the recent refurbishment makes it charming and practical, felt very homely in a good way. |

The position of the Regent hotel was excellent for our needs. The wedding we were attending was only a few mins walk away which enabled us to return to the Regent throughout the very long day. First night was a disappointment as we were placed in the wrong room, however, the owner very promptly rectified the error AND very generously did not charge us for the night. Second room was excellent. |

The staff were superfriendly, the room was very clean and recently painted and the breakfast was SUPERFANTASTIC. We had a slight issue with that we left our room at 12.30 for the day and it was not cleaned afterwards however, I believe if we had pointed it out to the staff when we left, they would have made sure the room was cleaned. The staff were very helpful. |

We were a party of 5. Upon arrival we were greated with a very warm, friendly and professional welcome by the Receptionist, nothing was too much trouble and she was very willing to accomodate our every need. We found the hotel to be very hot and could not easily turn the radiators down in the rooms, we had to open windows, and in one of our bathrooms the extractor fan wasn't working. |
