Perfectly placed in the centre of the town for access to all facilities. Good standard of accommodation and food. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Parking within the hotel was very limited, but there was adequate parking in the adjacent Regent Square. Overall highly recommended. There were a couple of minor faults in the room but these were reported to the staff who undertook to get them sorted. As I only stayed on the Saturday night don't know how they were resolved.

Although i found the room a little bit student accomadation like it was comfortable and had what i required. I found the staff from reception on arrival and departure, the night porter and the breakfast staff to all be helpfull cheery and very very pleasant. For the staff alone I would be staying again. The creaking floorboards and banging doors through the night kept waking me so if possible, sort those out please.

The staff were the highlight to our stay, they make you feel very welcome and the restaurant was great, compliments to the chef and waiters. Only one little problem the beds are two mattress's pushed together, not too classy.

The location was good, being a short walk from restaurants and pubs. The reception staff were helpful and friendly. The breakfast was freshly cooked. I had booked the hotel for my partners birthday and booked an executive room. We found the room basic but comfortable. However on entering the room the sun was shining on the floor to ceiling headboard showing dust and greasy marks including handprints. This prompted me to rub my finger over the top of the wardrobe and that was thick with dust. I would have expected better of a longstanding hotel.

Location was great, car park was full and very tight but parked easily on the square. Room was clean and comfortable. Had room service and food was very poor. Was very cold from late evening as hotel turn off the heating even though Our radiator was on max. Bathroom radiator was unsightly. Claims to have wifi but definitely couldn't get in our room at all.

The hotel was easy to find and is an easy 10 minute walk from the shopping centre, bus and train stations. The staff are very friendly and helpful and I felt like a guest rather than a customer to be processed. Although an old building with the rooms seemingly scattered within a warren of corridors, there is excellent signage throughout and even an old woman like me couldn't get lost. The rooms are clean and comfortable, excellent lighting and comfortable chairs to sit and read.I Would not hesitate in recommending the Regent and would definately stay there again should I need to stay in Doncaster. No complaints at all , though if anyone is overnighting on a business trip, they should take their own alarm clock as there are no clocks in the rooms.

This hotel was exactly what I needed for a short business trip. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. I slept very well. The food at both breakfast and dinner was excellent. It was centrally located in Doncaster which put all the amenities at your front door. There was no need to rent a car because taxis, buses and the train service were easily accessible.
