We loved everything about our stay at the Regent Hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We will definately be back.
The hotel was excellent and the food on the main restaurant was as well. The bar menu was also tasty and had good variety.
Friendly staff, comfortable room. Restaurant had a relaxed atmosphere and very tasty meals.
Never having stayed here before we shall certainly return. Everything about our visit was excellent from our extremely comfortable garden room to the pleasant, helpful staff - nothing was too much trouble.
Very helpful staff. Arrived very late due to accident on m6 but was no problem checking in.
Bar shuts at 11:30pm
The staff were very friendly and the food was fantastic. Room was nicely decorated and has a very large bed.
There was some renovation work that started at about 8am with very loud banging and hammer drilling. Free wifi didnt work in our room as it was separate to the main building.
The hotel was beautifully placed by the lake so you had lovely views, the staff were all friendly and welcoming. The room was quite small but cute and comfortable. The breakfast in the hotel was well worth the money the location was perfect just a small drive or 15 min walk into ambelside centre. We could even have DVDs for free and take them to our room to watch also the hotel offers to make a packed lunch if your going on walks the little touches were perfect would definatly stay here again!
Location , room , breakfast .
Very welcoming ultra modern hotel with amazing views of the lake great food could do with more lager on tap in bar apart from that super hotel
Lovely warm hotel, excellent staff, good food and brilliant location.
Disappointed to be in 'outdoor rooms' and not in the main hotel. Much smaller rooms, and not individual.
MODERN CLEAN AND UP TO DATE.
OVER DESIGNED! TOO MANY CONFLICTING STYLES AND COLOURS WITH OVER THE TOP Accessories.
Friendly and helpful staff. Lovely ambience in hotel. Excellent food in restaurant and bar. Breakfast very good and varied. Room clean with modern decor. Bathroom nice with a powerful shower. Wifi works well.
The only thing I wasn't keen on was having to walk across the courtyard outside to get from the room to the main hotel but it was only a small distance and luckily it wasn't raining! Other than that everything was fabulous.
I have to say the staff were up there with the very best of even 5 star hotels i have stayed in before. Reception were lovely and a special mention to the breakfast staff who were really friendly and nothing was to much of a problem for them.
Warm greeting from the reception staff. Brilliant garden room (43) Outstandingly comfortable bed! The breakfast on both days was freshly cooked and delicious. We will certainly revisit.
There is nothing not to like!
Everything was excellent staff pleasant and helpful Location great lovely side view of the lake from room 7 All very clean Had evening meal from the bar menu excellent The breakfast was fantastic plenty to choose from and the lady that greeted you for breakfast was very helpful and pleasant . Can't fault anything beautiful place to stay
Had a wonderful time, hotel was faultless in every respect, would definitely stay again and in the meantime would recommend to others.
The 9 hours that it took from West Sussex to get there due to traffic, 335 miles.
Excellent customer service
Room a bit chilly
Good location, pleasant staff
we intended to take a four day break in boness we are familiar with the area and have stayed in many hotels in the area.i had booked one particular hotel but decided on reflection to cancel and book another place in boness.i then booked the regent and was not aware for a time it was actually in ambleside.deciding to stay with it we took a chance.what a mistake!! brilliant friendly humorous staff, great food fantastically clean superb garden facing room with a huge comfortable bed(our room was 9 meters long!)we now intend to make this at least a twice a year break, well done the regent
There was nothing that I disliked
I have no complaints.
We had a lovely overnight stay at the regent , would stay again
Room was clean and modern with a really comfy bed and great shower. Staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was great. Bit further from town than we thought but not a problem. Would definitely stay here again.
Room could have been a little warmer and the tray that the tea and coffee was served on was completely naff for such a lovely modern room.
The reception, the restaurant, the lounge, the room, the food, and the staff were all excellent.
Nothing to dislike.
The reception bar & restaurant were just lovely and the breakfast was amazing.
The room was a little small not the best view but still comfy clean and warm after a day walking. The public areas made up for the lack of a view.
Pleasant, helpful and courteous staff, nothing was to much trouble and the room was lovely and clean, breakfast and food very good. It was a very lovely weekend.
The room was uncomfortably hot and we had the heating turned off, there was air con that we could have used but due to having asthma I do not like using air con.
