happy staff made us very welcome, bedroom very clean with table chairs and welcome tray, fantastic view across the bay, breakfast quick, hot and very tasty, we were very happy. we were on the 5th floor which was fantastic, but the lift was very claustrophobic, we used the stairs most of the time. that is our only criticism, but on the plus side, we got plenty exercise.

Great location, amazing view from the room We stayed in the 'refurbished' part of the hotel and even here the bathroom was mouldy and looked really old. Too expensive for this quality

I loved its location and I loved my sea view bedroom also the breakfast was good, and impressed with the hospitality tray. I thought it could do with a lick of paint, it looked quite tired which is a shame as it is in such a good location.

the position was really good and the staff helpful and friendly. The hotel could obviously do with some tlc but it was clean and had a charm. Our stay was only overnight so very brief but we would certainly stay again.

Great location and very pleasant staff. The hotel has beatiful views accross the bay in Oban. It was very budget friendly and was sufficient for our needs as we only stayed one night. The hotel is looking a little tired and could benefit from a refurbishment.

Location. Fairly easy to park given central location. Friendly and helpful staff. It is looking just a little faded. Just a bit sharper management could clean it up. Simple things like getting the 64 dead flies out of the lift light cover!

The location. The photos on Internet are from the refurbished part. The bit we stayed in wasn't anything like that. Miserable rooms, disgusting bath, noisey pipes a d horrible views of demolition sites.

Location of hotel Breakfast Room was clean The room had recently been refurbished but the windows were a disgrace. Although the room was nice, there were holes on the woodwork at the room door and in the bathroom old cupboards.

Loved the style of the hotel and that original Art Deco features had been kept. The dining room staff were very good at keeping everything moving along and were friendly whilst keeping their distance. Some bits of the hotel needed a little t.l.c.

Cheap, clean and comfortable. Central position on the front. Good beds, good breakfast. A bit old fashioned with art deco exterior but that is part of its simple charm. Handy for the ferries to the islands and boat trips to see the seals ans basking sharks etc.
