Nice tidy room refurbished few years ago
Could have thought better on the colour especially hallway and finished of the shower and sink wold be an improvement and rug doctor the carpets in the communal area and get rid of the grey.
Location of the REM was great, right on the doorstep of everything and the comfort and cleanliness of the accommodation was excellent
Check out time could be later than 11
Wasn't too convinced, until at around 3am, when a bunch of girls started shouting on our floor, a guy (presumably one of the staff) came up and told them off. Reason: He knew we had to get up at 5.30am the next morning and he wanted us to be able to catch some sleep.
It is right on top of a disco, hence loads of noise until 2am. Also, seems a bit dodgy at first sight.
good location with wifi and breakfast
the hotel is in a bar...
Located ideally on canal street, warm clean room and a friendly welcome. There is loud noise but that's to be expected based on where the pub is, didn't bother us.
Wifi signal was poor and wouldn't connect, WC shower facilities seriously need upgrading with a deep clean and breakfast could have been much better.
Value for money, excellent central location. Decent breakfast included. Good large bed.
En-suite shower without a door. Power shower handles falling out. Shared toilets: one with nonworking lights and second with broken lock. Super sticky floor in breakfast area. Not very easy to find unless you know it, to find reception need to read through various notices hanging on the wall to understand that bar and hotel are the same place.
Staff were good, had a great night.
TIM! Tim is great I love him
Nout to complain about for a room for 30 quid and free breaky. Plus very central in the village
We went to the rem hotel after traveling hours on a plane which all we got a guy on a phone saying we couldnt come in because we were to late and which I said on the booking that we weren't going to be gettin there at the time we did which was 1230 I personally think you lot shouldn't of took the booking if that was the case and which we said time we were going to be getting there so there's 45 pound of my money gone thanks a lot
The best part of the hotel was the back door when I was leaving.
Where do I begin? Room was unclean Shares toilet facilities which were dreadful and filthy The check in/out point was inside a bar which wasn't even open in the morning! Had to leave the keys by the door that let into the club because there was no staff around. Staff are lazy or need more in order to help people who leave earlier than 9 check out. Just to top it all off the sink and mirror in the room were dirty and for all those who aren't homosexual, I wouldn't advise staying here because there is pictures of men all the wall and there should be equality within the hotel for both men and woman. Or even better don't put inappropriate photos up as it very disturbing and to be quite frank very rude.
only ncp car park near by. overnight parking cost £18.00. this after being informed by the staff that the car parking was cheap shared facilities. poor bed that creaked. chair leg broken. table leg broken. light fitting hanging from wall.
The staff was very nice. The location was extremely good, as we was going out on canal street! The entertainment at night was good and getting ready for a night out and hearing the music from downstairs definitely sets the mood! The hotel was very nice and the breakfast was perfect! We went for my birthday and proved to make a perfect choice and will be staying again!
The lock on the toilet door was a little tricky at times and we generally went together so one could hold the door, but that wasn't too much of a problem!
Breakfast served not earlier than 8:30h, which caused me miss it, because my working day starts sooner than this. No furniture I could place my dress. Poor staff, even not able to provide me with any invoice..
not clean, noisy, without toilet in room only shower.
Not a lot - location was good
Open shower in room Communial toilet very old, dirty and dated Threadbare carpets in room Dirty skirting boards Breakfast served in same room as nightclub Reception located through bar Stairway dark and dingey with sticky carpets.
Location was ideal for us, staff were very friendly and helpful especially the breakfast guy
Room was very very small, showers were both blocked and borderline unusable (depended on how guilty you felt about flooding the bathroom) and only one set of keys between the 2 of us was awkward.
Food and comfort of bed
Location Friendly welcome
Extremely noisy. Very Squeaky bed. Squeeky floors. Door wobbled didn't feel secure. Cold room Shower was hanging off wall No hot water in room Horrible smell in entrance hall Laundry bags in hallway General grubbyness to the room
The room was fairly well decorated, clean and comfortable bed.
Other guests incredibly loud, music blaring through walls, lots of shouting, slamming of doors and noise. I expected the location to be noisy as it's above a busy bar in a popular location but judging by other guests it seemed more hostel-like. Not suitable for business travel!! Good for the money and great for a night out if you're planning to be one of the noisy ones!
The location the breakfast The room
The shower wasnt very efficient, and the bathroom not very clean because of a group of young People, the hotel was very noisy
I stayed here on Halloween, and I loved it. All the staff were really helpful and welcoming, with it being my first (and hopefully not last) stay there. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants a good night out and a great, stylish place to crash afterwards. Thank you so much for such a hospitable stay.
I've nothing bad to say :D
Breakfast was okay
Too loud music, couldnt sleep and too dirty
close to the station and clean
The bed is a bit creaking, and the music downstairs can hear till 12:00pm
All one needed for solo traveller on a budget needing somewhere to sleep for one night. Delicious breakfast.
Shared toilet and shower across the hall not ideal but not a problem and at bargain rate not unexpected.
