Ideal location . Friendly pub basic but clean . Lovely breakfast cooked for me and my friend.would stay here again !!!
Shared bathroom but wasnt a problem at all
The bar underneath the hotel was amazing, brilliant night
No toilet in the room
How cheap it was and where it was situated
Quality was poor but you get what you pay for
Poor cleanliness in general, and that's being polite. No one around on check out. A slight contrast to website
It was close to the centre and the area was not dangerous. Access to many bars, shops and train/bus station. The shared bathroom was clean and the stuff was friendly, smiley and helpful
It was a bit expensive to have shared bathrooms. There were some stains on the sheets and cuttlery and dishes offered in breakfast room were not properly clean. A bit of inconvenience due to late check-in time (14:00). Because of the central location, there is a lot of noise during the night
staff very helpful
noisy inside the gay and lesbian village.
bed was ok
too much noise outside at night, shared toilets & stiff key locks
The music of the discoteque under my room
The room is small, the shower is old and in common with all the other guest,it wasn't possible to have breakfast in the morning.
Staff were very friendly and the location was perfect, overlooking Canal Street Right in the heart of the gay village
The room was shabby, unkempt, dirty and in desperate need of a facelift. No light bulb in the lamp and light above the sink did not work. Curtain rail was broken so I could not completely close the curtains. Both bedside tables and table holding tea maid was covered in dust. Bed was very uncomfortable. It would seem that the price of the room is being used as a reason for sub standard conditions.
Location to Portland st room simple and clean
Unfriendly staff bathroom filthy one of the showers did not work fighting outside until about 3:50am in morning no bulbs in bed side lamps
Location, close to station and to shops and bars Good Breakfast
Only one of the two shared showers worked
Canal street location, cheap compared to the big chains, comfy beds, clean rooms, well decorated.
Shared Bathroom/shower was broken and grotty. Rooms are quite warm and noisy from canal street, be it revellers or the street cleaners at 6am.
Its clean and value for money and perfect location for canal street.
On suite???? Hmmmm it had a shower but no toilet. U still had to use the general toilets. You better of getting non en suit. Also rooms very warm.
1) Tried to contact the hotel before arrival to check everything ok but could not get through on phone - their phone does not take incoming calls!!!! So tried emails, sent 3 and had no reply!!!How are you supposed to get hold of anyone??? In an emergency??? 2) When my son and his girlfriend first arrived ( this was a birthday treat for him) the hotel claimed he was not booked in & tried to send him away even though it had been paid for by me a month in advance so he had to call me to sort it out!! Asked for a quiet room - no such thing!! even though it advertised one!!
The smell was horrible noises from the bar it felt dirty and unsafe.
The room is spacious.
Located above the resturant bar, and actually the street is full of bar which makes the night noisy.
beds were clean and fresh room ok breakfast great.
no toilet in rooms shared .didnt realise was niteclub so music belting all nite .felt rooms were not very safe .
The room was in the very heart of canal street, perfect location
We were supposed to be there by 12pm however we travelled a long way and were late by 20 minutes so the guy locked the hotel! We were so lucky he happened to be walking past at that moment or we would've been locked out. The hotel's cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired, the rooms were cold and uninviting and there was an awful smell throughout that smelt distinctly like a gay bathhouse! The breakfast, while free, was a tad too rubbery, so we managed to pay for our stay then make a quick exit, and we shant be back again soon!
they were very helpful and even though we had booked the wrong date they were very kind and found us a room
Friendly staff. Central location
Walls were thin. Woken up at 4.30am by squeeking bed and loud groans from next room.
Bed was comfy and near bars
To noisy very bad
The so called hotel is a rubbish fleabit and stinks
interesting place for simple people
... doestn matter
Very noisy due to the karakoe
1. It was inside the heart of gay village it was great 2. It was kind of cheap
1. It felt like it was a hotel for one night stand 2. The secure of the door at the room wasn't so good, I was a little bit worried every time i left from the room 3. The breakfast was terrible at a terrible place that they call 1 floor 4. The stuff was a little bit weird 5. The entrance of the hotel is at the bar and its a little bit awkward 6. The shower was dirty 7. Probably would never stay again
