Hotel Rembrandt12-18 Dorchester Road, DT4 7JU Weymouth (Show map) Very good, Score from 315 reviews“Everything, the staff were really efficient and friendly. The food was excellent, and the room was clean and comfortable. We would definately stay there again, and we felt it deserved to be more than a 3 star, we couldn't see what more they could have done for our comfort during our stay.”

We find the hotel is situated in ideal spot, just a few minutes walk from the front, off the road for peace and quiet. The parking is excellent. Hotel staff friendly and helpful. Meals excellent, good choice of menu etc. All facilities seem to be within easy access. We have stayed at the Rembrandt 3 times now, and hope to stay again.

The hotel was well kept and cleaned to a high standard. The breakfast was excellent and food was fresh and cooked to perfection. Swimming pool and leisure facilities were exceptional. The evening carvery had been stopped which was a shame as this would have been our choice

We liked the comfy settee in the bar area, the breakfast was amazing with a great amount of choice, the facilites were great, reception staff were very welcoming. Everything was great, the guy behind the bar (dark hair with glasses) was not very welcoming or friendly. When you work in that trade you really need to smile and welcome your customers or it just puts people off.

This is the 4th or 5th time with used the Rembrant and will use again. Ideal to relax in the pool and recommend the bar meals. Breakfast was the feast that we were expecting. Recommended hotel for exploreing Weymouth/Dorset and only 10 mins walk into town

We were delighted with the hospitality and the professionalism of staff at all levels. Furthermore the value for money was excellent, and I believe that we got hotel facilities and service for B & B prices.

Its is reasonably priced for reasonable accommodation. Someone gained access to my room at 0600hrs whilst I was in bed. Nobody at the hotel has any idea how. Had I not verbally challenged them they might have entered. The management have been very poor in offering any compensation as they did not provide me and my belongings with a safe and secure environment in which to stay. There was no courtesy knock or apology so I wonder if this was night staff or a breach in their security. I did not like the apparent lack of security.

The Wi-Fi connection was very unreliable, and we had to contact reception a few times to resolve the problem. We even had a visit from the duty manager to our room. He was unable to fix the problem there and then although he did try hard and told us he could get a signal on his I-phone, which was no help to us. One of the reasons we chose the Rembrandt was Wi-Fi comunication. Hope they get it right for the Olympics !

Had a lovely time at the Rembrandt, the hotel is a bit of a walk into town but not too far. The facilities are good, lovely swimming pool, spa and steam room. The food at the hotel is very good and there is plenty of choice for breakfast. I would recommend this hotel

The location was ideal for a pre-Olympics trip; staff were very friendly and food was good. Clean and warm with plenty of hot water. Our double bed was a bit too small for our liking; we were on a discounted break through an online voucher and as a result maybe had the allocated room for such guests - our room was situated over the swimming pool fans and was quite noisy with the windows open.

Made to feel welcome by friendly reception staff, staff checked that everything in the room was to our satisfaction, location ideal for our weekend stay, Hotel situated close to town centre and all amenities. Food was excellent and a wide range of breakfast items were available for all tastes. Would most certainly book again.

The staff were great and always very willing to help - like finding peppermint tea bags for my wife as she doesn't drink normal tea and cooking mushrooms without oil for breakfast in the steam oven (even added a little garlic much the envy of other diners). The leisure facilities were good too nice pool steam room and sauna as well as gym with towels provided and very helpful staff. The dust cart coming to empty the bins outside our window at 5.30 was not so welcome and our bedroom door didn't seal well (light showed all round) and so di the sound when drunk revellers went past at 3.30am Sunday morning - but other wise can't fault it.
