We find the hotel is situated in ideal spot, just a few minutes walk from the front, off the road for peace and quiet. The parking is excellent. Hotel staff friendly and helpful. Meals excellent, good choice of menu etc. All facilities seem to be within easy access. We have stayed at the Rembrandt 3 times now, and hope to stay again.

Just the right distance from the beach and shops. Was able to leave car in the car park for the whole of my stay but there were buses within easy reach if required. Great carvary ! I have no adverse comments.

Clean, comfortable room and good choice of breakfast items. We had dinner on first night which we found to be poor value for money and not of particularly good quality. Parking was difficult later in the evening as leisure club members used the car park. The location of the hotel was a bit out of town so quite a long walk. Parking in the town was expensive which restricted shopping trips. The room did not have hot water much of the time. The plumbing and radiators were very badly fitted. On a previous visit to Weymouth last year we stayed at The Royal Hotel which was much more central and Dinner, bed and breakfast was cheaper than bed and breakfast at the Rembrandt. We appreciate that the Rembrandt had a leisure centre which we did not use but did not find the overall experience to be particularly good, mainly because of the location and insufficient parking for hotel guests. Poor parking availability. Expensive and poor quality dinner. Lack of hot water in rooms.

The cleanliness and facilities. They have a locked door after a certain hour, which is fine, but we were left outside in the cold and 1.30 in the morning for what seemed an eternity because the duty manager couldn't hear our calls on his phone or the door buzzer. Also didn't like the Staff attitude to our complaint.

The hotel is in a good location, close to the town and beaches. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Some nice facilities, eg, lovely pool, sauna and steam room. The gym is not very well equiped, it has cardio equipment but no free weights and a small variety of other machinery. Ok, on a short stay but wouldn't be the type of gym to be a member long term.

The location was fabulous for us. Near the beach and pubs/restaurants. The breakfast was fabulous value for money and all staff were very friendly/helpful. There was a lovely relaxed atmosphere within the hotel and the rooms were very quiet. The beds were a little hard but you will never please evryone with that one!! Parking facilities onsite are always a must.

Convenient location. Very good choice of food for breakfast. As soon as we arrived in our room we had to contact reception as there were crumbs and some sandy bits on one of the bed covering. I must say the two house keepers were very apologetic and dealt with the situation promptly. Very draughty near window. Seal on window not adequate as a lot of wind came through the gap at the bottom. This was confirmed by a light bag being blown to the floor from the window sill. Also if windows are double glazed, this could be better as during the night a lot of noise was coming from outside due to the high winds. Arrived back in the evening to a very cold room and woke up to an even colder room in the morning. This was very disappointing and my daughter who was in a different room and experienced the same, was told by reception that the heating won’t be coming on but she could have a storage heater delivered. The heating was on when we returned to the room after breakfast. A bit late really as we were due to check out.

Staff very friendly, everyone very helpful. The rooms were extremely clean. Staff seem happy - always a good sign. I chose this hotel because it had ample parking which was very important to me. Also near my family who live in Weymouth. Breakfast was very good. Bar could have had a few more comfy seats.
