One of the rooms 245 smelt terrible. Had I not been with two other friends whose rooms were not infused with the same foul mould smell - I would have walked out.
I was upgraded to a club room and it was a very nice room, spacious and clean.
Pleasant staff Good breakfasts, Good access to nearby quality restaurants. Room always immaculate and well prepared. Good taxi services to West end.
Sometimes rooms can be a tad small, but we have had upgrades on occassions and they are always better for internal space, Restaurant for evening meals is not special, but then most London hotels are indifferent for dining in house.. But then the locality is so good for restaurants. .
The location. The food, the bar area too.
Liked location for all the activities we had planned
Some updating needed in certain areas. Not all as some upgrading has been carried out.
A bit small rooms
Well located , confortable , quiet ,
the 50 £ deposit handed back as we said we had not used mini-bar. But fees have been deducted by VISA
The location was excellent for the Natural History Museum, which we were visiting.
lthe hotel was very good, in such a convenient place for the museums and visiting other parts of London.
Can't think of anything!
Convenient for me as attending events at the hotel, price compared reasonably with other local hotels.
The location is fantastic - very central, with many nice South Kensington restaurants near by, and still quiet. For our 9 years old grandchild the pool was very fine for getting exercise.
We could not easily find stairways. The bar area was rather uninteresting..
Generally very good. Our son was running in the half Marathon on Sunday 13th Oct. The location was very good. People were very helpful & Friendly.
Prices were a little high. Pot of tea for 3 in excess of £11 I paid a £100 deposit on my car. I only spent £51.48. They the £100 But omitted to refund the difference. I've spoken to them
Good food friendly staff, nothing to complain about. Very central for the museums. Good transport available.
Location Price 3rd Bed for children Friendly staff
Furniture mini bar prices bathroom size noisy neighbors non smoking hotel
location, price, breakfast, facilities
The food, location and cleanliness
The tired, dark rooms needing a little updating
Everything except the crying baby next door at 3 in the morning.
Sitting area with coffee/tea service
Room was small
Nice pool and leisure facilities, good location, nice breakfast room and breakfast options
Tired of being asked for credit card details when stay already pre-paid AND this hotel group has IT security issues which they informed me some months before stay but local staff (claimed) not to know .THE INDIGNITY OF ONLY BEING ALLOWED INTO ROOM ALREADY PAID FOR BY HANDING OVER CASH AS A DEPOSIT IS UNACCEPTABLE AND SPOILED OUR STAY - upon leaving cash deposit handed back as we said we had not used mini-bar.GET REAL
In the restaurant there are two bowls half full of water for dirty cutlery: one for unused, one for dirty. When a table is cleared, the waiter sorts the dirty from the clean. The clean is dipped in the water and wiped with a used cloth teatowel and reused. The dirty cutlery should go to the kitchen dishwasher but they often rinse only and transfer to the clean bowl and then wipe only and reuse. This is a serious breach of health practice and should be formally reported. Check out the waiters movements! No excuses for this practice.
The location is excellent, the room was a bit small but very comfortable.
It would have been nice to have a coffee maker in the room but the breakfast offered downstairs was amazing. I was very disappointed in the Spa next door. My manicure was in a room like a closet next to a pool full of noisy toddlers. Not at all relaxing.
Big room, big bathroom, very classy place.
Classic hotel with nice location. We normally use this hotel when in Lnd, and also normally recommend it. However, this time.......
Smallest room ever! Single room sold as double. Confirmation sent us said single room, however when spoken to booking at hotel, they insisted it was a double. But it was not! Do not recommend to prepay room, as you probaly will end up in the same situation... Not very impressed (this time Rembrandt!)
Excellent location Facilities excellent Staff pleasant and attentive
Dining room tables too close to each other
