The location and excellent cleanliness of the room.
More sugar in the tea tray, would have been good.
The Breakfast was great at the hotel, really sets you up for the day. The location for what we wanted was good with easy access to tubes and areas we wanted to be, easy for seeing a show as on the Piccadilly line a couple of stops from Covent garden. Hotel quality was lovely, we picked a nicer hotel as it was my birthday while we stayed, we normally stay in the large chain of hotels with purple logo but you can tell the difference!
The Pillows as usual in a hotel are just not the same as home, the two pillows seem to high and the one seems too low. The toilet was annoying, the bathroom fittings are high end and probably designer but after you have finished the toilet needs cleaning. I am a very clean person and this upset me. The air con was blowing hot air which made the room very warm, the temp didn't drop below 23degrees, we should have reported it but decided not to and just opened a window, this is not a fault of the hotel.
the dinning room badly needs an update,we had dinner there on Tuesday when we arrived ,it was poor and over priced we did not eat in there again.
Breakfast was very poor quality
The façade of the hotel on arrival, quick and efficient booking in, the very clean room and bathroom with little extras, the relaxing lounge and bar area with a toasty fireplace. Pleasant staff. A good restful night. Very calm and relaxing. The good location. Would definitely recommend to friends.
Speaking for us, the experience was a good one and there was nothing to dislike but other people may think differently.
Relaxed but efficient atmosphere. Convenient for V&A, Natural History Museum, Harrods and Bibendum.
first room we were given was a building site breakfast very poor
Boutique ambience. Good food at diner. Staff lovely
Arrangement for breakfast - like a bus tour. Did not do justice to all other great aspects
Location was excellent Room size was very good Bathroom was very clean (& new) Staff were very friendly (nothing to much trouble)
Morning biscuits only supplied for one day. They should be each morning as most hotels give this service. Thank you
Convenience to shops and museums
Fine quality food for breakfast but would have enjoyed it more if it had been warmer
location breakfast included spacious bedroom helpful staff
mechanical noise outside bedroom
location bar service
reception staff, bad English, slow in talking to us, room small for the price, bit shabby. Could have got a better room in a better hotel for the same sort of price ( £280) Had breakfast in room, plenty of it, shame it was cold !! Very dissapointed
Friendly, efficient staff and management. Good 'team' approach throughout the hotel. Spacious, quiet, special needs room with wonderful, accessible bathroom. Superb location, so close to sightseeing venues, e.g. V&A Museum. Lounge bar and restaurant provided wide range of food and drink options.
Minor point, given the considerable benefits of being given an upgraded room (which was much appreciated)-no view from the room's 2 windows. Opaque glass prevented this. Suggest window panes are changed to enable a view when next maintenance upgrade takes place.
superb dining room and lounge area. excellent breakfast buffet.museums and shops nearby public transport on doorstep
The comfortable bed, good breakfast and excellent location.
The door to the bathroom keeps closing on it's own.
professional staff and sevice
The generic standard of the Hotel. Almost all of the staff (see over) were very polite, helpful and friendly. The food was excellent.
The size of my room. The senior concierge - he stopped the reception staff from releasing my case because he was busy and it was not their job!! Leaving me to wait until the junior concierge returned - poor PR !!
Grand room-very comfortable, delicious full English breakfast, friendly staff
not a thing!
location. fantastic breakfast range, fantastic meals, decor of room, spotlessly clean.
bed far too hard
Almost everything. Great location and good room sizes for central London. Friendly staff.
Hot breakfast items were on the cool side.
Dinning room for breakfast too crowded, tables a little too close together. Carpets in rooms a little tired looking and towels looked grey and thin.
Great breakfast, comfy room, great staff, great shower
Bathroom in need of update
Great location. Warm and comfortable
I have nothing negative to say about this hotel.
