Room was comfortable, especially the bed. Breakfast was excellent and everyone was helpful and pleasant.
Only niggle was the check-out queue.
Although we had a room on the top floor , the traffic noise was an issue. The breakfast room was very regimented , tables too close together, not somewhere you want to linger for long. Wouldn't stay here again.
All staff very helpful. Location could not have been better. Food fantastic.
Location for Albert Hall Knightsbridge shops and South Kensington Tube Also museums if you want to visit Good breakfast Not cheap but good value for what you get
Can't think of anything
The location is great, close to museums, shopping, restaurants and public transport
Guests at the adjacent room were having baths after 10 pm and running water was most disturbing. I wished to have sleepers in the room.
Position generally but also specific proximity to excellent restaurants, South Kensington tube-- with well lit access to same, and to the significant museums nearby. The staff were most helpful and courteous at all times.
Very small bathroom, which proved to tricky for a 70 yr old to access bath and shower. I had spent 5 nights there with my husband in June and we had far superior facilities for the same price. I had expected the same for my September solo visit.
Close proximity to tube station. First impressions good, staff friendly yet professional, lovely room, varied breakfast, vibrant area close to attractons.
One of the rooms 245 smelt terrible. Had I not been with two other friends whose rooms were not infused with the same foul mould smell - I would have walked out.
I was upgraded to a club room and it was a very nice room, spacious and clean.
Pleasant staff Good breakfasts, Good access to nearby quality restaurants. Room always immaculate and well prepared. Good taxi services to West end.
Sometimes rooms can be a tad small, but we have had upgrades on occassions and they are always better for internal space, Restaurant for evening meals is not special, but then most London hotels are indifferent for dining in house.. But then the locality is so good for restaurants. .
Fantastic location, very clean hotel. Breakfast had a good selection.
Reception staff not very compitant. Service in the lounge at times took a age, one lady trying her best to look after large groups of guests while managers and supervisors seem to stand around chatting. The lock reader in the lift needs attention , I observed many guests myself included struggling to use it as it constantly turns red and fails to recognize the key card.
The location nothing else
The fact that the website shows a pool but dosent tell you that you have to pay £7.50 per person per day to use it . Also that you have to use your room key to activate the lift which we had problems every time we tried to use it . Our sons stayed in room 535 in which the tv stopped working on 2 occasions
The location. The food, the bar area too.
Liked location for all the activities we had planned
Some updating needed in certain areas. Not all as some upgrading has been carried out.
A bit small rooms
Well located , confortable , quiet ,
the 50 £ deposit handed back as we said we had not used mini-bar. But fees have been deducted by VISA
The location was excellent for the Natural History Museum, which we were visiting.
lthe hotel was very good, in such a convenient place for the museums and visiting other parts of London.
Can't think of anything!
Convenient for me as attending events at the hotel, price compared reasonably with other local hotels.
The location is fantastic - very central, with many nice South Kensington restaurants near by, and still quiet. For our 9 years old grandchild the pool was very fine for getting exercise.
We could not easily find stairways. The bar area was rather uninteresting..
Generally very good. Our son was running in the half Marathon on Sunday 13th Oct. The location was very good. People were very helpful & Friendly.
Prices were a little high. Pot of tea for 3 in excess of £11 I paid a £100 deposit on my car. I only spent £51.48. They the £100 But omitted to refund the difference. I've spoken to them
Good food friendly staff, nothing to complain about. Very central for the museums. Good transport available.
