Just 2 miles from central Oxford, the Remont offers modern 4-star guesthouse accommodations. It has a garden and terrace. Free public parking and free Wi-Fi are available. Light airy and spacious room,extra large bed +lovely en-suite bathroom.Tea and coffee facilties in the room.All spotlessly clean.Fab buffet breakfast and very polite and courteous staff.Free car parking on site a bonus.The city of Oxford just a short bus ride away,so leave the car. Excellent stay and planning to visit again.

Staff very helpful, clean modern well equipped rooms, centre of Oxford only 10 min by bus but the local taxi company only charge £6.50. Buffet breakfast lovely and included in the room rate.

Very friendly staff. Clean, elegant environment. Excellent buffet breakfast provided in the morning. The bedroom was very dry and provided only very small drinking glasses. Kept on having to get up as very thirsty. Shower could have been a bit warmer in the bedroom.

The staff are friendly and the room is good for a family of three like us. There is no lift to my room and quite difficult for my husband to move all the luggage upstairs.

A pleasant clean and tidy hotel. Small and friendly. Quiet despite being on the main route. Despite the restaurant does not provide evening meals, guests are well provided for with most types of food outlets within a short distance. Breakfast was comparable with that of many of the so called top Hotels. Should we return to Oxford we would certainly use the Remont again. Why? It just suited our choice perfectly!

Many more pretentious establishments describe them selves as Boutique Hotes. Please avoid that temptation Remont. You are light years away from candlewick bedspreads and plastic headboards but you retain the comfort and friendliness (when you encounter staff) of a guest house or chambre d'hote. We were in Oxford for a rugby match and my 20 year old son was particularly impressed by the "wet room".
