Renaissance Manchester Hotel  

Mostly the excellent location, few meters outside the Arndale shopping centre and also walking distance to the rest of the diners and clubs. Furthermore, the room and service were quite good, just what one would expect from a 4 star hotel.

The shower mixer was leaking but once we informed reception about the plumbing problem, they immediately sent the maintenance guy that repaired the leak in no time.

The staff were very friendly and attentive. The rooms were very clean and well presented. Having access to car park was brilliant. Great location as I could walk to conference and to shops and restaurants and forget about the car durin my stay.

I would have liked a few more packets of biscuits left on the tray in the room.

Booked this hotel for Hen Night accomodation as any cheaper options didn't have twin beds. We got a great deal with upgraded rooms and breakfast which were very good value for money. The superior rooms were very large with 2 double beds rather than 2 singles I was expecting. There was also a sofa and chair with a coffee table as well as the usual amenities. Bathroom was fine, clean but not luxurious. Staff on reception were very helpful and the concierge was great. Breakfast was as good as I would expect and the staff weren't in a hurry for us to leave even though we'd arrived at the end of service. All in all this was a very nice place to stay and suited our group of friends perfectly.

Hotel car park was difficult to access, needed to park up in the taxi rank and go into the hotel to get instructions. I was in a hurry so just parked in the attached ncp which was slightly more expensive (60p) and didn't require the wait. Staff may have parked for us, but there were no details in the booking confirmation so I didn't consider this in advance.

The size of the room was great and I was able to have breakfast in bed for only a few pounds more.which was huge and very very nice. Had two double beds to choose from and a view overlooking the river.lots of bars and restaurants close by with a supermarket and cash machine across the road.perfect for town centre shopping.

Wasn't as modern as I had expected.rooms and decor fairly dated.

Loved... The location...friendly helpful staff...in all departments, especially the reception and bar.Special price deal...Room lovely comfortable and clean. A special mention to the bar staff and the gentleman who helped me when I left the Hotel . He ordered me a taxi, went for it and put my bags in it. Shame I haven't his name But thank you ! Would definately book again -

Heating in room was not working, when we asked about it they brought up a oil heater, which we were appauled at, we were then moved to another room.

Great room, check-in staff helpful. Good location. Loved the view from the window. We would come again if there was an offer on the room

Breakfast was to expensive so we opted out.

Staff very helpfull and friendly. Overall we had no complaints.

First rate stay,found hotel and service top rate meals(breakfast) very much hotel standard.beds and sleeping sound would stay again without fail Good all round city hotel J,K

At check in, receptionist specifically took account of the "special request" for room location that I had made when booking.

The staff were very friendly, the room was good, the food was very good, it was fantastic for the shops. We would go again.
