The beautiful decor, comfortable beds, great restaurants!
No free wifi in rooms!
No mobile phone service in room
rocation and chamber room
Helpful and friendly staff. Everyone from the reception to the bar staff to the room service were happy to engage in conversation and genuinely wanted us to enjoy our first experience of the hotel; we were made to feel very welcome and comfortable.
Nothing really. We had a query on the invoice which was dealt with very professionally and without question. We will certainly come again.
The hotel was perfect for me and my wife for a lovely weekend away!!
Staff and the Chambers Club
Very poor service in the restaurant. Very expensive internet (free internet very patchy, dropped out frequently)
The staff were very friendly and the history of the hotel is evident throughout the decor.
The parking was extortionate. And there was not much variety with the food; neither at the restaurants nor for the in room dining.
Very relaxing and comfortable, the food was very well presented too.
Walking through an area that looked into the kitchens while wait staff carried food and dishes past us was very unpleasant. Also the smell of raw onions and food preparation as we walked to the lifts!
1. Ambience (including the pianist) and fine dining of Gilbert Scott Restaurant 2. Convenience for travel in bound and for exploring further 3. Beautiful building 4. Excellent historic restoration 5. Helpful staff 6. Good size bedroom and sensible practical bathroom 7 Well stocked mini bar 8 Good choice of breakfast menu 9 Room service available if we had wanted it 10 Overall welcoming atmosphere
. Booking Hall restaurant had loud deafening music in the evening. At breakfast time the tables were too small bearing in mind the large plates. Jam was needed as part of the breakfast buffet. A lounge where hotel residents could just sit a while would be helpful as the lovely reception area tended to have its seats booked.
The view over the station and the statues
The mediocre food at inflated prices
the climb into the bath for a shower is a bit daunting. was a concern for us and we are fully mobile. somebody less mobile and above a certain age will struggle and not feel safe.
The building itself is fantastic and the pool was very nice along with the staff who were friendly and polite
The Barlow room we booked was tiny and the view from the small square window overlooked a brick wall. If possible look at the room before booking as the photos on line doesn't match the actual room we had booked, when we complained we then had to pay a further amount to move rooms
Helpful, friendly, unobtrusive service, quality of accommodation, location and range of food and drink
Only staying for one night!
The hotel is beautiful. The staff were friendly and efficient. The lobby was amazing and the history of the hotel was fascinating. The care and attention given to the restoration of the hotel is appealing and wonderful. The Booking office serviced delicious food and for sheer location to the Eurostar it cannot be beaten.
Not aware a tour of the hotel was available until we had to leave.
The location was excellent. So close to Euston. This is the quirkiest hotel We have stayed in.The Reception Staff more than helpful. The Booking Office which has been turned into Bar/Restaurant absolutely amazing. We had rooms in new part which were excellent. Good size and very well furnished.
The only criticism were the towels. They were not, in our opinion, luxury hotel standard.
beautiful iconic building.. quite central,... great breakfast and wonderful service
All of it!
Slow service in the restaurant.
Loved the room, the bed, the shower and its location. The building is just a fairytale
The window was pretty small and the views were not the best. I didnt care though, the hotel is just perfect.
St pancras Renaissance Hotel is such an amazing hotel, the staff was adorable and very friendly !! and the buffet for breakfast was my absolute favorite thing !! I really would like to mention every single details that I liked, but it would take me too long. Also, the fact that is near the train and underground station is soo handy. At the end, I really think that it's worth every single penny!
The staff, the bed, the building, the location
No view! Very small window facing the roof of the station which was a major dissapointment. There were also only 2 regular tea bags in the room, very mean.
1. I Booked Barlow King room with breakfast and was told on the reception the breakfast was not included. 2. Not possible to open windows, despite A/C there is no fresh air in the room and in the corridors on the floor. 3. It's very strange to notice, but it seems hotels in London in general do not feature a toilet brush. 4. Shabby walls in bathrooms, you can clearly notice water stains on the corners. 5. Fish and toilet smell in the elevators, extremely poor ventilation.
