on arrival I pay with cash that completely confuse the reception. Then they insisted on authorising a card. When i checked my bank I was charged the amount I pay cash and and then the next day charged me for another days rate as card not present. Still waiting for a phone call To tell me when I would be receiving my money back.
Clean room, friendly staff, good location
No fridge in the room for a 4star hotel ?
No parking facilities breakfast too expensive
We were given a room at the front of the hotel, we were woken many times during the night by noise from outside. If we return will definitely request a room at the back of the hotel! Given that our stay was for three nights I would have expected the room we were allocated would not have been in the most noisy area( over the main door practically), this was our second stay at the hotel.
The breakfast was the real deal. such a selection and the quality was superb. The rooms were excellent and the staff friendly
I only stayed one night
The hotel. Excellent lobby and bar. Decent sized room and a comfortable bed.
Checking in. The receptionist could not find the booking at first. Then he did not realise the credit card reader was not working and asked if we had enough money in our account! We had to wait for 10 minutes until another member of the staff intervened and sorted things out.
provide good service for the elevators. they all should be in service to avoid long waiting time
I love the design of the place & the decor in the lobby. The toiletry sets are also a really nice touch. Great price, much better than staying in a Premier Inn or Travelodge.
The room needed a bit of attention, cracks & flaking walls. Also the carpet was quite stained.
Perfect base for a day shopping and lovely meal out by the river.
Comfy bed Friendly staff Good sized room
Room a little too hot No directions to off site parking
Friendly efficient staff, good value. comfortable and clean. I will recommend to both friends and business
Nice hotel & Amenities. Good Value for Money for Standard Room
Paying extra for Comfort room which was no different to Standard Room, staff agreed, but did nothing. (Room 312) Secondly I left something behind, but no-one on the reception phone can understand English when I call and speak to them
Nice hotel and value for money
I have stayed at Penta several times, this time I booked a Comfort room and a Standard room, the comfort room was actually smaller than my friends standard room and smaller than any Standard room I have stayed in before (Room 312)
+ stylish Location + good Restaurant + friendly staff
- weak Internet access - unexperienced staff at late night check in
Rude staff, awful uncomfortable bed, awful paper thin pillows, awful weak wifi signal in the room, awful weak shower, no safe in the room, no iron and ironing board. When I asked for one I had to repeat my request 5 times before I've got one. For half the price getting the same basic amenities one could stay in Premier Inn and receive a kind smile and comfortable pillows.
Everything very nice
Price was fair.room was a good size.and tv was good
Bed was abit hard and the pillow's were to soft.also you could not adjust room temperature.also no mini fridge.the décor was to random and very dark with not enough lighting
The room is very nice
Free wifi gets disconnected every 30mins.
Clean, good beds, great location
Nothing springs to mind
Funky decor Comfortable large bed Lovely relaxing lounge bar Clean Large room Lovely rain shower
Took ages to check in, huge queue with only one member of staff on the counter.
price of drinks service ...20 minutes waiting to check in
It's a good hotel with a nice bar and lobby. The downside was the staff. We didn't need to be patronised or lectured when asking for a receipt for cash payment. We definitely did not need to be woken up by cleaning staff knocking on our door rushing us out nor discuss cleaning arrangements as we were leaving with our suitcases. With all do respect to the employed, when you are on holiday, the point of using the hotel is to be pampered and to not to take part in the services provided. We sometimes use PENTA in Leipzig and we were hoping for the same quality of service.
-staff -air condition on a wall with peeled off paint -wifi did not work fast enough
Staff were night and the room was comfortable
The food was not great - microwaved Room was basic
Carmen needs a raise and never let her go. she was helpful, calm and perfessional. Took the time to help us organize our day of site seeing, help with destinations to visit and help us understand how the trains worked. Taxi serves this hotel uses, was fast , friendly and priced reasonable. The staff was friendly and accommodating to all our needs. Continental Breakfast was delicious. Well done! ,
Some of the food wasn't so tasty and Needs a little adjustment. Serves was awesome. Thank you!
nice lobby, huge bed, great shower, clean
understaffed, room looks like a random flea market shopping spree, favourite of stag/hen groups so always noisy.
