The staff in this hotel were very friendly, willing to help and were very accommodating. Although the reception area and stairs etc. looked a little shabby, the rooms were modern and well equipped. Everything was also very clean.
The breakfast was all in all very nice. However rather than fresh fruit, I was given fruit cocktail. This would be my only complaint!
I liked the location in Renfrew Street, next to the art schools. Good breakfast nice staff.
Too far from main streets and Central Station. The bathroom fan very noisy stayed on too long. Light above sink went off and on faulty switch. No soap small towels no bath towel or mat. Woken at 5 am by noisy people next to me who smoked and the smell came into my room.
Basic but clean.
Paper thin walls meant there was very little privacy - especially for the couple next door...
hotel is perfect for the city centre, super cheap parking and at night is silent. You are 2 mins walk to the shops/ bars and the room is tidy and clean it isn't a 5 star hotel but excellent value for money
staff were friendly.
Hotel needs an update, rooms very small. Breakfast very early and check out very early. Was not good value for money.
Great location Great price Facilities ok for money Breakfast acceptable Staff friendly This was an excellent value for money stay whilst we went to a gig. Will defo be back again. Great location for shopping too.
Shower head bit dodgy - only complaint
location,value,everything on the doorstep!
stairs to top rooms! wont put us off tho.
Treble room was a double bed and single bed instead of 3 singles
location is excellent
price vs quality was not what you would expect, the charged top dollar for a mediocre room (and breakfast separately)
We felt we were grossly overcharged for for a tiny room which although clean was very dated. We didnt recieve any warning of the amount of climbing involved. The noise through the paper thin walls was terrible ,we hardly slept ,it was as if the couple next door were having sex in our room.Definately wouldnt recommend or return.PS glad i left the cat at home
great location - close to the train station & city centre. Comfortable bed in spacious room
My arrival was delayed & I anxious to check in very quickly as I was late for a meeting. I explained this to the reception staff member who made no effort to speed up my check in. I also asked him for directions to where I was going - he just told me to take a map! Poor customer service! Room I was given was lovely - but too close to reception - all conversations could be heard & my door rattled everytime main hotel door opened... But - I would recommend nonetheless & would stay again
Location ... Access to sauchiehall street (2 mins), access to Charring Cross Station (5 mins), Peaceful Location. Staff were very cooperative.
Cost was at higher end based on the size of room I got. Though not a concern for me, there is no lift.
The building. The room.
The other clientele. Clubbers and giggers doing all nighters. Very noisy. We didn't get a wink of sleep. Staff were very unhelpful. Decor is dated and dusty. Bathroom wasn't very nice.
Extremely, quiet, peaceful location. The freedom to come and go as I wanted not feeling that I was disturbing any one. Found the staff very helpful at all time. A big thank you to all
Unfortunately my daughter who is " Vegan " felt she was unable to stay there with me due to lack of menu provission
great location staff very kind this is me back again i will go back...very peaceful have a good night sleep
Room had lots of space to move around in:
It was at the top of a hill and we were on top floor - no lift!
staff very helpful and very pleasant
update bathroom. a lot of tiles broken and cracked,
Helpfulness of reception staff.Comfy bed, good shower, cosy room.
Many of the fixtures in the hotel are very tired and in need of an upgrade ie. fabric on chair worn, paint around windows flaking, radiator in bedroom very loose on the wall and 2inch gap at bottom of bedroom door.
Everything was perfect
Approachable helpful staff, great location and good price.
Basic hotel, single room adequate size, bathroom tiling could have been cleaner.
The reception staff were friendly and helpful.
Rather dated, sparsely furnished room with threadbare carpet. Poor soundproofing - very aware of people an adjacent rooms.
Night porter was friendly and helpful
Breakfast was dismal Ceiling light was dusty Bathroom was dirty Wallpaper was missing in places Furniture was mismatched Hotel corridors were dirty and marked Staff were rude
Very close to the city centre and there is a subway station a 5 minute walk away. The staff are friendly and welcoming.
The shower units door had came off and it has been replaced by a curtain which does not fit and is not clean. Also there was a lot of rubbish under the bed.
Location near school of Art and close to tour bus route Nice decoration in Art Nouveau style
Thin walls so you could hear guests in neighbouring room Very steep steps to hotel Staff didn't attempt any conversation
The staff are friendly , helpful and welcoming and the hotel's in a great location.
