Very helpful and friendly staff. Comfortable beds!
Room was at front on Main Street so was bit noisy
The hotel is an excellent for buses and trains for onward journeys. Bed was v comfortable. Breakfast and dining room staff v good.
Room had no double glazin and got a lot of street noise all night and from early mornin with many buses stoppin. Bathroom smelt of stale cigarette smoke. Carpets were dirty. Wouldnt stay again.
Location and staff
The room was filthy there was cigarette ash on the window ledge the net curtains were filthy as was the windows the tv didn't work we didn't go for breakfast because of the cleanliness issue.
Nice room Comfortable bed Good shower and towels. Breakfast and price excellent.
No chair Could have been a little warmer
THE PRICE, GREAT VALUE, BEST BREAKFAST, LOVELY STAFF. WILL BE BACK.
Good breakfast. Good value for one night
No heating in the bathroom Lack of soundproofing Wifi not available in bedroom.
comfy bed okay Breakfast the lady at breakfast was nice and the receptionist this morning was lovely! Okay for money I suppose if ur skint but if ur looking for sexy time this isn't the hotel.
Tiles falling off the bathroom wall, panseat was old and discoloured, took payment as soon as we arrived reception guy didnt seem to happy? Not shown to room:(!hubby didn't sleep well due to heat in the room, vegeterian breakfast didn't have any sausages:( lots of stairs wouldn't be suited to older people.
location very central clean worried as single woman travelling but felt very safe
rooms at front very noisy try and request room at back away from traffic noise
Relaxed atmosphere, staff were good , always ready to help.handy bar and great breakfast.Room was good size with kettle and water bottles . Great location for running round Glasgow.
Brilliant central location, staff were really friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean, warm and adequate and the breakfast, included in the price was plentiful.Very good value for money.
The decor was a bit tired and would benefit from a facelift. 2 pillows would have been better and there was no plug in my bathroom sink the first night.
amazing price and very good breakfast
The staff were very good, there was tea/coffee making facilities in the room, also bottled water & toiletries in the bathroom plus the breakfast was excellent.
There is no lift, our television had no sound even after I had reported it to reception. There also was no anti slip mat in the bath & couldn't get the shower to work.
The bed wasn't comfortable nit enough pillows apart from that it was good
the short distance from railway station and city centre
no clock in room
This was our first visit to the hotel it has an ideal location to central station and the city centre. The booking price was very good for the Christmas period. The hotel has very good facilities and a friendly staff. We will be rebooking within the next or two.
We only had two minor negative points firstly the decor is looking a bit dated and the second was that two pillows are required for the beds.
Very convenient location.
Attitude of staff, very helpful. Breakfast great.
I have stayed here before as it is a great Victorian hotel. If you don't mind a little wear and tear, it is perfect. Large, warm room with extra electric fire, and a bath, which is a great bonus. Extremely friendly staff and good breakfast. Only 60 metres away from Glasgow Central station.
Nothing at all, I love this hotel.

Needed bit upgrading but not the worst.
