Location, cost & included breakfast - not buffet but cooked for your order.
We were on the main floor, ideal for not having to carry cases up more stairs but very noisy bedroom from nightclub/cafe at ground/basement level
Good breakfast, pleasant staff, free WiFi in some parts of the building . Fairly close to airport bus stop too. WiFi was only guaranteed to work in the sitting room. Fortunately it also worked quite well in our first floor room.
No lift, Noise from people on street calling out all night every night. Double glazing would substantially improve this. The place is looking just a bit run down.
Staff although a little tried & old the room was clean & comfortable i would stay again the breakfast was good
No lift...& was on top floor
Near to the city and reasonably worth for money.
Budget room is looks good, but uncomfortable during rainy session (no air circulation). No elevator.
Breakfast and waitresses were nice
The hotel being located opposite a very busy bus stop was very noisy Surrounded by shops with refuse pick up's night and morning. Double glazing didn't do anything even with ear plugs. Also being in my 60's and having to walk up 3 flights of stairs especially with a suitcase. Although the bed was clean and comfortable but one of the bedside lamps was almost hanging off. The bathroom had brown patches on the floor tiles. The building and interior was very shabby especially as the sign out side say's newly refurbished. How many year's ago.
Character. Central location.
Notice on fire escape door:"Guests are not to use fire exits". Defeats the object of the exercise. Shower had no soap dish which is disproportionately annoying.
proxiity to the city centre. Staff were fabulous
no lift! You need to ask for a lower floor room if possible.
Good breakfast, staff were very helpful, location good
We were on the 4th floor no lift 96 steps, if were not told it would have been a problem carrying suitcases as it was we used our backpacks. The bathroom had a 2" drop from one end to the other
In the middle of Glasgow:)) Perfect stay. Will be back again:)
Dingyi room, worn carpets, poor decor. Expensive to use hotel car park.
location breakfast only good points.
stayed on top floor no lift needed oxygen by the time I got to my room floor creeked when walkon. will not be back.
The bedding were not clean. And carry a big luggage to the 4th floor by staircase was not fun.
Close to station
Mouldy smell in room steep awkward stairs very noisy street sound lat into night. Suspect price bumped up in games week.
great staff good breakfast good tea/coffee making facilities Good location
rooms look dated no mirror in bedroom, only one small one in bathroom-difficult to blow dry hair when there is no mirror next to wall mounted hair dryer!!!!!! bedroom door very difficult to open, needed to use shoulder power every time to get it open ¡! lights over bed not working
Convenience of hotel to centre of town. Room was lovely. Breakfast was first class
Windows could do with being double glazed although this may not be possible due to building regulations but it would be much quieter
Convenience to railway station
Attitude of staff No safe luggage room In need of update
Great location in town and next to station.Had a lovely large twin room at the front. Great value use it a lot.
climbing all the stairs to get to our room
staff were helpful, the hotel was right near the station but not noisy. Good value
needs a good refurbishment
friendly staff comfortable beds
location convenient but questionable - may not be suitable for women travelling alone no lift / elevator very overpriced during games
