Location & reasonable cost Shower leaked all over the place; the remote control didn't work; the doors didn't fit and the TV picture was unwatchable

Central location Room dilapidated, no hot water for shower in morning. Hairdryer broken no replacement offered. Window in bedroom catch faulty so couldn't close properly to block out sound of busy street. Poor nights sleep.

Perfect city centre location. Within walking distance of all main attractions/museums and right next to the station for trains to anywhere else. Subway only 5 mins walk away. Friendly staff. Generous cooked breakfast. Comfortable bed. Toiletries and plenty of tea/coffee/milk. Really good value for money for such a central location. Only minor things, all of which could be put right so easily and would make the hotel even better: poor quality shower fitting (although obviously new it was already cracked); old rawlplugs still visible where previous fittings had been in the bathroom; wonky toilet seat and wonky shaver light (not working); woodwork in need of a repaint.

The breakfast was great - especially pleased to find a good vegetarian option. Room was very comfortable and for the price paid we were surprised at how big the bathroom was - really good and great value for money. As it was located next to the train station we thought it would be quite noisy, but that definitely was not an issue. As we were on the top floor duration of the stay (one night) the room was very hot - even with a comfortable bed it was hard to get to sleep. Otherwise it was a great hotel!

The night shiftreceptionist was very nice :d I disliked the fact that the was someone else drink left at the side of the bed so who ever was supposed to clean it clearly didnt, the lights were hanging off the walls an only 1 worked! The windows didnt fit the frames at all an my hubby had to manouver window about in frame to close it and it made zero difference to cold or noise, every inch of the flooring creaked horrendously an went up hill towards bed, tiny amount of hot water so sower was out the question , the buses run all night and stop right outside which is very noisy the binmen collect all sortsa rubbish incl glass at 1-2 am all in all didnt sleep a wink an froze all nite an couldnt even have a hot shower to warm us up so safelly say wont be recomending it an think I should be refunded
