Absolutely nothing! The stains on the walls, the 72 steps we had to walk up as there was no lift. The cold cooked breakfast. The single glazing windows between 2am and 5am. The smell. The radiator did not work. The drip of a shower

Poor planning to start with, saw a customer denied of a booked room because the management booked room for him without realizing that there would not be any room available that day. The room I was given was a nightmare. Friendly advice, never take a room on 4th floor (top floor). No curtains for the only window (which was on the ceiling) meant I couldn't sleep properly at night and had to wake up earlier than scheduled due to sunlight directly hitting my face. The carpets and cupboard were old and unclean. The sound of the tv went off after 15 mins and I had to switch it off and on again numerous times. One good thing though was breakfast. Everything you could desire for the amount of money you paid. In all, I would only recommend this hotel to poeple if they get a room there for less than 40 pounds.

Hotel is located in main road, and there are a lot of shops which very convenience. The hotel is very old, everything is in bad condition such as carpet, doors and furniture. There was bad smell when we walked in the hotel and along the hallway. It was complicated to walk in the hotel, we spent a lot of time to find our room. There was no soap in the bathroom.

Proximity to the station and position in the city to access most places of interest. Bus stop opposite the hotel. The breakfasts in the diningroom with touches of Rennie Mackintosh design. No lift and no porter. With a room on the third floor it meant senior citizens like us had to carry the cases up and down three flights. The furnishings and decor were rather shabby. E.G.Strips of laminate hanging off furniture, old holes in tiles where the bathroom fittings had been replaced and wonky toilet seat. The drawback to being near the station was the constant noise from the street. Also the noise from the corridor one night was quite bad.

Beside central station, Clean sheets ... Best bit was leaving !! No lift , 50+stairs & we only on were on 2nd floor!! Door card faulty, Still waiting for someone to carry our suitcase,food/vomit stains on chair,DIY repairs, mildew covered shower room, useless shower curtain, tiny towels, 1wafer thin pillow, manky carpets, revolting cold slimy cooked breakfast., Complained but still waiting for a response, both 2 tired to debate with laid back reception about it due to lack of sleep in that room !! View of litter stained rooftops and fag burns on the windowsill Yeuch !!! But loved Glasgow !

The location was very good, next to central station and didnt hear trains at all at nite or early morning, the breakfast were good n as much as staff were nice if u want iron n board u have to get it urself from cupboard alongside reception nd uv to make sure u return it (thank god it was not at top floor) I always check reviews for hotels b4 booking.when I read them about this hotel I thought a some people were maybe expecting high standards,so thought I will c for myself (that way at least I can say ive tried it)sorry all u were rite the rooms were a state,we couldnt put our toothpaste etc in bathroom as the shelf was missing the towel holder is hanging on wall by a thread,i went to sit on toilet seat nd found out the seat was already broken me nearly banging against wall nd wall lights hanging of the wall beside tv,the whole place needs done up its well n trully needing painted (properly)couldnt help but notice how much miss brush strokes of paint was not even half done (please get proper people to to decorating n people to maintaince repairs)please """""

Coffee and cookies and leaving Bed uncomfortable, pillows non existent, pillowcases inside out had the other side been used. Breakfast cold, very noisy still awake at 4am. Pictures on web site must have been taken years ago or of somewere else. Room on a slope and if a bus went by outside you could feel the bed vibrating.

Only thing I liked was the central location!!! Didnt like the unhelpful, unfriendly rude staff, didnt like the uncleanliness or standards, didnt like the amount of uneven unstable stairs that had to be walked as there was no lift. As the ventilation was poor we had to sleep with the window open, we didnt like the horrendous noise of the city! But nothing can be done about that I guess

The breakfast was hot I would say this hotel is very poor. The level of decor is astonishingly bad. The hallways and doors to the rooms are chipped and stained. The room smelt of dry rot and the noise from the street was simply unbelievable. If you have no money then try this place. If you have some money go somewhere else.

Comfortable, quiet although city center location. Very close to Glasgow Central Station. No lift - might be a problem for upper floors, if not young and fit.

Location was great, breakfast was ok. This was a terrible hotel and the room was not nice or comfortable. It was very noisy and the door did not properly lock. The bathroom had unusual smells throughout the night. I think I would have got better value in a hostel where I had to share a dorm.

There wasn't anything to "dislike" because it is a Good Fit for what I need, when I'm staying in Glasgow. The price is right for me, and I was very happy to discover my room was on the second floor!! I would be content to come again. A satisfactory breakfast, and nice dining room staff. Happy Christmas! Many Thanks. Audrey

It was a great room for the price and, having gone to Glasgow by train, couldn't have been more suitably located! The reception staff were excellent, and though the hotel may look a little run down the room was clean and comfortable.
