Nothing that I could say I liked apart fo from location for easy access to shops
Everything bathroom fittings chipped & marked noise from road outside had to buy ear plugs entrance &staircases had never been hoovered bedroom chair dirty&stained no way this was a three star hotel maybe 20-30 years ago we were on second floor maybe elsewhere was better staff were not even dressed for business or very accommodating totally disappointed no wonder we were asked to pay on arrival as would have declined on checking out
Great price. Location ideal. Excellent shower. Bed fine.
You couldn't turn the radiator off, or open the window more than a crack, so it was boiling in the room. Wifi didn't work in room, but did in lounge.
This hotel is excellently located - right in the heart of Glasgow and within 100 yards of Glasgow Central station. Facilities are basic but adequate for a budget hotel. The breakfast was very good and staff are helpful and accommodating
Shame the wifi is available only in the lounge. Several things in my room didn't work - the hair dryer, the bedside lamp and there was only one pillow.
In an ideal position on Union Street next to Central Station (very handy for meeting my daughter there next day) I had a budget single room on the 4th floor (Could be a struggle with luggage but I was ok) no lift. Easy check in and room ready at 1pm. Old fashioned a bit scruffy but lovely shower with constant hot water, clean bedding and towels. Comfortable bed and good nights sleep. ample supply of tea coffee biscuits and a bottle of water. Could leave luggage next morning in the dining room. Didn't have breakfast but the Dining room looked OK to me. Excellent value at £29 for a hotel in the City centre (including breakfast)
great breakfast, comfortable bed,
No complaints re this hotel
. Excellent breakfast. Very helpful friendly staff. Excellent location.
Room overlooked the street and husband found it a bit noisy.
Location Nice towels in bathroom Flat screen tv tea/coffee making
Room was very worn-looking,awful curtains, dull lighting, shower very poor No decaff coffee sachets
staff excelant with no problems I will stay there again many thanks from the old man of the north
everything was perfect
the hotel is very near for all the shopping center you just walk and enjoy the room is very cleaned
Close to Glasgow main centre
Receptionist on arrival very friendly and polite, asset to the place, great breakfast, and breakfast staff
Residents bar closed at midnight after being told would be open when we got back from our night out, which was 0030
Location was excellent
Bed wasn't brilliant
Nice comfortable bed nice breakfast
Couldnt get wifi in room
staff were friendly and helpful. centre of glasgow right near station.
alot of stairs to get up no lift. light didnt work in room and plug didnt fit bath hole. quitr old fashioned inside. gangs of people hang about outside the main entrance of hotel shouting ect which can be offputting. also very thin walls ect can hear everything.
There's no lift so it's inaccessible to disabled people....there's no double glazing and you're right on a main road so it's noisy and damn cold (we had the radiator on full blast & still had to keep the curtains closed)........we were on the first floor the first night where the toilet wasn't even fixed to the floor......and on the second morning the sink...the bath and the toilet all blocked up......they then had to move us to the 2nd floor...where we spent the rest of our stay......definitely wouldn't ever stay there again, and with no lifts & only single glazed windows on a main road...if you like to be warm & enjoy your lie in....I wouldn't recommend it for you either :-(
The location was spot on for shopping and room and shower room very clean. Breakfast was very good and cooked to order. Would return when next we want a shopping trip.
Hotel is in old run down state, bed was really uncomfortable
Rooms were clean & cosy, good city centre location and helpful staff. Very good value for room and excellent breakfast.
Decor, noise, old furniture and Divan bed was stained down the side! Bathroom floor was on a slope as you made your way to the actual toilet. Breakfast was ok, budget! We were on 4th Floor, loads of stairs, NO LIFT! Even for what we paid l would not go back.
Well placed for subway and centre of city. Very reasonably priced. Hairdryer, kettle etc and hot shower.
In need of some tlc decor - wise. Breakfast stopped at 9am ...9-30 weekends....that's very early and caught some guests out.
No lifts, so dragging luggage up flights of stairs is a nightmare. Even Reception is up 3 flights of stairs. Very old building with creaky floorboards.
In city centre, nice and convenient with only 5 minute walk from train station. Provided a fantastic service which was good value for money. Would defiantly recommend this hotel to friends and family and will stay here again.
Very relaxed atmosphere and helpful staff
Could have done with breakfast starting earlier than 07:30
