Breakfast, shower, TV (did not work)
Very clean and quiet. Good value. Excellent breakfast.Plenty of tea and coffee. Good size room. Comfy beds.
Only 1 pillow.Decoration a bit worn, and bathroom sink cracked. Tiles in bathroom cracked. Duvets very heavy.
There was no Lift.
We liked everything about the hotel it was great value for money.
There is quite a lot of stairs even to get to the reception area and as there is no lift you would have to keep this in mind if you have any ailments
The closeness of the shops, so easy to get the shopping and pop backwards and forwards to the hotel. Rooms comfortable and a lovely breakfast.
Lovely hotel and convenient for everywhere
Only the location
Being on the main road lots of traffic noise Morning breakfast was not satisfactory as the bacon was overcooked, and the breakfast was not hot and freshly made
everything the bed was comfy and amazing location for food and shops for shopping.
wifi didnt work in room
Second time i have stayed at the Rennie Mackintosh and i look forward to many more stays
free wifi in room Complementary bottles of water and biscuits in room
The sheets and pillow case had a very strong, chemical type smell, which clung to my clothes. The room was poorly lit and had no natural day light The shower fittings were broken It was dirty The breakfast was cold, eggs were hard, the tomato had not been cooked, it was greasy. We were rushed to order our breakfast and it was not freshly cooked. Coffee from machine was undrinkable It was noisy, boom, boom of music from beneath room, when I complained about noise I was told we were in the quietest room
location , breakfast and value for money at 44 Pounds
bed was uncomfortable and only one pillow , booked for another night in december and the price had shot up to 74 pound for one night , not far off a 50% increase.
On the doorstep of Glasgow Central. Clean and warm room. Very helpful receptionist. Several adjacent restaurants. Easy online booking. Good breakfast.
A wee bit noisy (traffic) overlooking the main street. Water pressure a little low (shower). Staircase a challenge for mature couples - no elevator.
Breakfast was excellent. Room was really comfortable and I had a great sleep. Brilliant location for everything in Glasgow.
the staff were very helpful and kind. asked for toilet brush which was provided. extra pillows which were provided when asked.
noise because the windows don't close properly. taps not being attached to sink. TV aerials being attached with one screw which was fixed eventually. very thin pillows. long walk to the third floor.
The damp patches on the walls in the room. The room door handle held on with tape! The room was in need of some renovation. The abrupt and unwelcoming nature of the receptionist on arrival. The very low shower pressure.
Hotel is minutes away from any where you want to visit in Glasgow Price is excellent Breakfast was very good
Friendly staff, central location
Staff were pleasant
Having to park in the NCP some walk away. Hotel is not in the best location ut the price reflects that.
Space of rooms,Staff were wonderful, very good breakfast. bottled water in room, needed more biscuits with your tea. Would stay again, easy access to everything.
Need to have WiFi in rooms, especially if your on the 4th floor and have to go down to the lounge, People hanging around the front door.
Great place! Best location in city, and very good value for money! Will come back again.
Close to everything in central Glasgow
The room overlooked the street so it was very noisy
Location - literally on top of Central train station. Very clean Tea/coffee in room Clean towels Bath in the en-suite Friendly staff
Having a room on the busy street side of the hotel - very noisy all the time and didn't sleep well at all. The hotel has seen better days but it's good value as somewhere to kip down for the night to get an early train the next morning. Also, would be nice to have wifi in room instead of having to go to the lounge area.
Very convenient location. Great breakfast. Lovely staff.
Some rooms are a bit too close to central station. Makes it a bit loud.
Location was good.
Hotel was tired. Needing to update decor.
excellent accomodation: don't be mislead by the "dodgy" look of the entrance, as the door is narrow and looks like it will be a "cheap" place. instead, inside you will find a really nice hotel, with cozy rooms, fully furbished, clean and well prepared. 1 min walt to the central train station too, so what more can you ask?
