Close to all major tourist spots Motel type accommodation Impossible to argue with price
At this price nothing to dislike although shower could be improved
Our stay in the reservoir motel met all expectations
Pillows were too puffy and not enough neck support and water butts in rainy weather proved testing.
Very quite place and clean.
Internet very poor signal.
I don't have a bad word to say... the rooms were clean, homely, spacious and had everything you needed along with tea and coffee facilities. I would stay here again definitely.
We booked to stay here as we planned to go an explore Cheddar. It was a nice day so we decided to walk the 2.5 miles into Cheddar however on a our way home we tried to get hold of a local taxi company...of which we were told there were none... in fact we were told there was 1 taxi run by a local man for the whole area so we had to walk the 2.5 back at midnight. We didn't mind too much but this may put some people off.
Location Price Comfort Friendly Staff and Atmosphere
No meals but excellent pub a few minutes walk away
What a great place to stay, everything was spot on. The room was bright and clean, the bathroom was spotless. I can't speak highly enough of this motel. You have to try it.
Clean, comfortable convenient and welcoming.
Wifi code provided didn't work.
Location was perfect in a beautiful location with friendly welcome and great local pub in walking distance. Rooms were very clean well furnished and Great to have full size mugs in the room with decent tea and coffee. Only evening noises were the wildlife and local sheep a really relaxing tranquil setting away from tourist trappings
We liked everything however Wifi would be nice as the area has very poor mobile reception but it would not stop is coming back
Axbridge is a very nice village
Had to order breakfast the day before, we found this out on the day we left Could not "view" the reservoir!

WiFi didnt work
Perfectly situated for the day trips we had planned.owners were lovely and so was axbridge.
Good location. Friendly welcome and helpful. Rooms good size and very comfortable. Village in walking distance with charming tea rooms (good breakfast!) and The Lamb public house was full of character. Also a Co-op food store for everyday needs.
View from the back of the property but I understand this is an ongoing development of the Motel.
although only there for one night we had plenty of information on nearby attractions, restaurants etc and excellent safe parking.
Clean comfortable rooms friendly staff.
No breakfast on site but available in village.
The cleanliness and convenience of location for my purposes.
parking a bit hairy
Ideal location for what we needed an overnight stay,
Bed to soft and creaky, TV to Small, not enough Tea, sugar etc, and NO WiFi, No Signal on Mobile Network or Phone..
Close to the places we wanted to visit.Very clean and comfortable room. Helpfull gentleman when arrived. Made an error on the booking was giving a familyroom for the same price of a double, very nice of the owners.thanks
Stayed overnight Good location, great for Cheddar Lovely meal at The Lamb in Axbridge
Friendly owners. Good location. Good value for money.
Struggling to think of negative points - Bed a bit too soft (personal preference), shower temperature varied in use.
Cleanliness, bed linen and towels better than in some 4star hotels Able to be on your own, no one looking over your shoulder Excellent value for money paid
possibly they could make sure that there are sufficient of each refreshment ie hot chocolate and biscuits for each guest. We did have to share these
good price, handy location, friendly staff, clean and tidy room, plenty of places to keep stuff out of reach of 1-year-old
Got blocked in with lack of parking space
Nice helpful people. Quiet location, easily accessed
That the owners would offer each morning if you needed anything from the local shops.
Clean and cheap, great for a short stay.
Breakfast area was in a large conservatory so got very warm on a hot day. Staff was hard to come by.
It was what it says it is and they were happy for us to leave our car there for the day whilst we walked to Cheddar Gorge and back.
We weren't able to connect to wifi in the room that we had.
